"Best hotel I have ever stayed at in Vegas! It’s like the Roaring 20’s meets modern European! Very elegant, artistic, and fun! Only downside is that it’s in between the Strip and Fremont, so you need to be prepared to walk, Deuce (bus), or ride share everywhere."

"Insufficiently trained staff, unresponsive leadership and inadequate follow up. I am a titanium elite member and received horrific service. If this is how they treat someone with high rewards status I can't imagine how they would treat normal guests without status. They seem to care more about their "policy" and the "letter of the law" than taking care of brand loyal customers. I've stayed at over 50 different Marriott properties this year. Everything from travel brands in small towns to their luxury properties. Unquestionably the WORST customer experience I've had this year. There are dozens of Marriott properties in the Las Vegas area do yourself a favor and stay at anyone of those!! This whole fiasco was predicated on inaccurate information and poor follow up. It was exacerbated by leadership that didn't take control to swiftly resolve the issue. The onus to resolve the situation kept landing on me. This property never made me feel valued as a customer or Marriott loyalist. Tried to work with the hotel directly on 3 different occasions. Received inaccurate information and no follow up. Was directed to Marriott corporate. After two more interactions, both of which I was supposed to "receive communication from the property" (both phone calls I was told I would be emailed "probably by the manager") I still had no resolution. Called and accepted a small number of points. Marriott customer loyalty said "the GM sent an email to my email on file" on a "x" date although I couldn't find it in my inbox, junk or trash. But, I received emails from two different Marriott properties that same day to the same email on file."

"I walked through the door and was instantly greeted by Chloe. She has always remembered me since my second visit to the property and this is a nice touch to what is otherwise another wearisome business trip. This is the kind of personalized service I always imagined when I reach Ambassador, but she freely gives to her guests. I'll always frequent this property when I can because of this. The rooms are trendy and comfortable. The onsite restaurant Pepper Club is a favorite, serving Asian Fusion with surprisingly robust breakfast options. A guilty pleasure when visiting Sin City."

"I normally don’t leave reviews but our stay at the English was exceptional enough to warrant a 5 star review. I confess this was my first time being in Las Vegas (other than being laid over in the airport) and I can say Vegas isn’t quite my cup of tea. Came into town to see our favorite Irish band (you might have heard of them) at the Sphere and wanted a place close to but not on the strip. We found the perfect spot for us at the English. Perfectly located in the Arts District where we found tons of cool shopping spots, coffee shops and bars it was the perfect spot for us to spend a Saturday. We didn’t even head back onto the strip. The hotel itself is very unique, with an awesome vibe that we thoroughly enjoyed. We were fortunate enough to be staying during First Friday which is a fun event held the first Friday of every mo. Staff was very kind and helpful and worked with us to get an early check in. If we come back to Vegas we will most definitely stay at this hotel again."

"This place is a gem. I stay here every time I’m in Vegas now, business or pleasure. Rooms are very classy. Wonderful heated pool, that isn’t closed at silly hours like most hotels… Fantastic on-site cafe/restaurant, but you’re surrounded by food options if you don’t want to eat at the hotel. …and to top it off the staff are excellent. USE IT OR LOSE IT PEOPLE! Note: if you like a gym, they have a share agreement with the Plaza hotel which is a short run down the road, but a good little set up there."
