Enterprise Rent-A-Car

"Rent with caution from here- make sure you get on the ground and check every inch of the car from ALL angles before you drive off the lot! The car I rented had a fair amount of damage/ scraps to the front and side which were noted and added by the person working because I pointed them out. Upon returning it they tried to say that I had caused “new” damage to the same side, scrapes you could only see from a squatting position because they were on the side rail. They were clearly all part of the same damage that had already been on the car but since I had not literally squatted and inspected this far down I had not specifically noted this area as part of the whole damage already present. I know I had done nothing that could have caused this damage. I wish I had been more clear with what areas were damaged and been more thorough /taken my own photos when I picked the car up. It seemed pretty clear they knew they could just pull this one over and blame it on me. It seems this same thing has happened in the past with other renters whose own car is in the shop for damage. I think they know you will just pay rather than put another insurance claim in when you are literally using the rental because your car is being fixed. What a scam! Renter beware! Would not rent from here again."

"The staff in Kailua are amazing! Friendly & efficient. A special thanks to Anna! I’ve rented once/week for the last 12 weeks. They pick you up & drop you off for no charge! The service and the type of car are reliable-if I reserve, I have a car that is usually late model. I also use Turo a lot but Turo owners can cancel on you last minute, and usually you need to meet them at some out of the way spot. Sometimes the Enterprise rates may be a little higher ($10-20) but sometimes not! Turo has those back end charges they do at the end. But for the convenience, reliability and the peace of mind, I’ll gladly pay for an Enterprise rental. Mahalo Enterprise staff for making my experience easy & enjoyable."

"EXCELLENT experience renting a car from Enterprise rent-a-car 134A Hamakua Dr, Kailua HI. Superior customer service delivering speedy follow up phone calls with clear communication details, fantastic accommodations, and reasonable pricing. My car was in an unfortunate car accident and insurance coverage was activated to cover the rental car fees. As you can imagine, dealing with the car accident, trying to get my car repaired, and working through insurance is a very long process and can become overwhelming and frustrating! I would like to pay special recognition to Katie at Kailua enterprise. Katie went above and beyond to help me work with the insurance from the very beginning and to seamlessly switch into a comparable rental vehicle similar to my Chrysler 300 that got into the car accident. Katie helped, along with her diligent kailua team, to find a vehicle to accommodate 2 baby car seats, 2 baby strollers, and all the other baby necessities that are needed! It was extremely important to me to obtain a rental vehicle that had all the child safety features and adequate space for our large ohana daily commuting. Enterprise delivered on my expectations with the desired rental vehicle within 4 business days! Katie took her time to explain the features of the rental with true expertise and kindness. I drove off feeling very satisfied with my rental vehicle, feeling safe for my keikis, well compensated, and moreover confident in the customer service that I experienced! The rental vehicle was very clean, drove well, and had no mechanical problems. Don’t waste your precious time with other rental car companies. "Great experience renting car from here. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff and excellent customer service. The car was very clean, drove well and had no mechanical problems. There is a good selection and variety of cars to choose from. I would like to pay special recognition to Anastasia. She is wonderful and really made the experience for me. From start to finish, she was warm, kind, communicative and understanding. I got into a bad accident last month and was sent here by my insurance company as the rental is covered under my policy. When my car was deemed a total loss, insurance stopped covering the rental. I hadn’t found a new car yet and was still trying to figure out what to do with my old one so I chose to extend the rental and txfr it over to myself as primary renter. She made this switch smooth and seamless, taking up very little of my time. Beyond that, I had to extend the rental a few more times. My work schedule and commute conflicted with their open hours. She worked with me on the phone. I feel that I was not an easy customer but Anastasia was always pleasant, helpful and patient with me. It’s clear to me that she was making an adamant and genuine effort to help me. I instantly saw that and it made me feel so much better. I’m in the service industry myself and I know it’s not easy to be “on” all the time. I recognize and appreciate those who give good service. Going through an accident is traumatizing as is but having to deal with insurance and finding a new car is an absolute headache. Having someone like Anastasia at a time like this is a God send. She hands down exceeded my expectations with this rental and I will happily refer my family and friends to use their services."
