"Spoke with someone at the Pearl City location on the phone. They told me to bring my Meile vacuum into their location and they would get over to this location to be repaired. We decided to bring it directly into this location. Upon arrival found Meile signs all over windows and met a man who said they can’t fix Meile vacuums if there is something wrong with the motor. The vacuum consists of a circuit board and a motor. He said they don’t repair and I could not get it fixed under the lifetime motor warranty. He said I needed to go back ti where I purchased the vacuum. Lazy company didn’t want to be bothered fixing a vacuum or attempting to fix a $650 vacuum. Only interested in selling them."
"I called on a Tuesday during store hours asking if they could fix my B79 machine, the lady on the phone said "yes" and to bring it in. I went the store during store hours and talked to them on the phone but the doors were chained shut. So I guess they just decided to close early and didn't mention it to me when I called. A few days later I go for a second time and bring the embroidery extension that I need a trained pair of eyes to diagnose. From the moment I walk in the woman was rude to me, telling me if I didn't buy the machine at this one store they wouldn't do anything for me. And, to look at it, it would cost $400. After reasoning with the rude lady she gets the actual repair technician who was super sweet and said that she wasn't trained yet to fix my type of machine and that she was still just learning the Bernina machines and didn't know about the Bernette machines yet. She was apologetic and polite and referred me to another sewing machine store. That sewing machine store, (owned by the same person) was also a bust. These people are a bunch of a crooks and very unknowledgeable about sewing machines maybe you'll have better luck bringing in a vacuum."
"Poor communication from the techs and salespeople. Dropped my machine off to be diagnosed. It was repaired without confirming the cost. One saleslady said it might take up to six months to be repaired (it took nine days). Multiple salespeople kept trying to sell me machines that had more features than I wanted (or needed). Their technicians are good but beware of the salespeople. I left with the impression that they would say anything to get you to buy a new machine."
"Took classic singer in today as bobbin thread wasn't catching or threading properly. Before I said anything, the clerk said it's $199 for overhaul plus parts as needed. I said to her you haven't even asked what the problem was. She showed me the price chart and that's the owner's decision. So if a screw is missing or a spring needs replacement, they're going to charge the $199, well no thanks. IMO a terrible way of doing business and handling the potential customer. I'm going to find someone else I'd rather do business with."
