"Working here is not worth it. They have so much favoritism and they aren’t flexible about the schedules like they said they were in their applications . Everything was so unorganized I literally wanted to quit already. They didn’t even know that our orientation was on that day and it took so long to process everything it was terrible. We truly do not get paid enough for everything we do as well. They’re firing people who has worked here for years even though they “need the people”, and people quit left and right for a reason. The lunch breaks they give you are 30 minutes out of an 8 hour shift as well, when at most should be at least one hour."
"Absolutely rude they expect people to use the "Club" card to scan in order to purchase. I came inside with family... And some employees needs to be watch out more like some are not to run with shopping carts and pallets. Never had a problem with the Sam's Club in Grand Forks North Dakota."
"On 11-09-2023, my spouse and I encountered extremely inefficient customer service and unprofessional management at Sam's. We waited in line for an extended period, despite the cashier appearing to have finished with her previous customer. Despite our polite attempts to get their attention, the manager and the cashier continued conversing without acknowledging us. Suddenly, both the cashier and the manager left without acknowledging our presence, even though we had placed all our products on the rubber band in front of them. Puzzled, I followed the manager after a few moments and inquired about the situation with our cashier and whether she would return. The manager responded impolitely, stating that the cash register was out of service, and left immediately without providing further information or apologizing for the situation. Approaching her again, I politely asked if she could open another line for us and the other customers who had been waiting for a long time. She pointed to the next line, suggesting we go there, even though it already had six carts waiting before us. Once again, she left us hanging, ignoring our complaints. She then went to assist with the customer return line, conveying with her non-verbal conduct that customers of a certain racial background don't matter at Sam's in Hawaii. Despite our being cleanly and carefully dressed, she treated us in a rude and unprofessional manner, while seeming polite to other customers and employees. I am sharing her picture here because she declined to provide her name despite my three attempts to inquire. Immediately after I took her picture, she instructed security to apprehend me and demanded that I delete it from my phone. I then explained politely that I wanted to submit a written complaint against their manager, as I had to take her picture since she refused to disclose her name. Once again, I politely and calmly requested to know their manager's name if they wanted me to delete the picture. However, my request was denied. After about 15 minutes, they allowed me to leave, perhaps due to the increasing number of inquisitive customers gathering around. In conclusion, I must emphasize that not wearing a name tag while working directly with customers or hiding behind a white hat allows some ignorant managers to feel more comfortable at work. However, just as brown skin cannot cast a shadow upon an enlightened soul, a white hat cannot mask or feign enlightenment in a dark soul! WAY TO GO, SAMS! Great choice with your employee selection and customer service training!!! PS I’ve attempted to contact Sam’s Club online, and so far the following is the only response I received: Thank you for contacting Sam’s Club. Your reference number is 240112-038422. We value your opinion and welcome your feedback. We are working to get a response to you soon."
"Ever since I discovered I could order online and do a curbside pick up I was hooked! I recently had been recovering from surgery and picking up curbside was so fast and easy. I was even able to find a nice prime rib for Christmas. The most helpful part of curbside is my bottled water order. I don't have to struggle with loading the car with half a dozen cases of waters anymore. The employees who come out and load the car are pleasant and helpful and very prompt. I would highly recommend this location."
"Aloha all; you all know what Sam's offers but this location has 3 floors of parking , easy access to food court, the customer service is unmatched. Also they have easy checkout just using the app. You can scan products and walkout with no line or Hassel."
