"I was on the hunt for some wide mouth mason jars but they weren't anywhere in the plastic containers or ziploc section like they're supposed to be. I searched up and down those aisle rows but no luck. Then I asked David Kramer if he could lend a hand. Turns out, they had been moved to a different section and without any hesitation, he went all the way to the other side of the store to find them for me. He totally saved the day and made me one happy camper. Thanks a bunch for your help, David!"
"BUYERS BEWARE!!!! This store is advertising sale prices of items in the store on large, easy to read signs, and then charging different prices once at the cashier. I'm sure a lot of people, especially senior citizens are being overcharged without even knowing on a daily basis. I shop in this store weekly for an elderly couple who live in nearby Sun City Summerlin and this week was my 3rd experience buying something for them I thought they would like only because it was on sale and bringing it to them bragging about the great deal I got for them and then handing them the receipt and then being told that the price I told them I paid was not the price shown on the receipt. This week's latest experience was with strawberries that are clearly marked 99 cents ( see pictures that I went back and took today when I was there for something else). The marked price of 99 cents and no indication that a digital coupon was required to get that price. This item rang up as $2.99 and I didn't catch it at the cashier. When it was brought to my attention that I had been charged $2.99, I thought I must have messed up and I needed a digital coupon for that item and I missed that on the sign when I was in the store. I then looked on my Smiths app and there was no digital coupon for the item. I was going to let it go as it certainly isn't worth my time to go back to the store to get $2. I had to stop at this store to pick up a prescription this morning so decided as I walked by the customer service desk to ask to speak to a manager about this continual false advertising and overcharging that has been going on, not once or twice but now 3 times on 3 separate items and probably God knows how many other items that I didn't notice. I had the disappointing experience after explaining this whole series of events to Manager Mary for her to tell me that I needed a digital coupon to get that price. When I told her I thought that might have been the case so I checked on the app to see if there was a digital coupon even though the sign didn't mention needing a digital coupon to get the advertised price. She then said she would check it out and walked away. Really? This lack of caring about the price being rung up wrong and her completely dismissal of my multiple experiences was shocking. It seems that this is now regular practice to charge customers incorrectly and hope they don't notice or maybe not even care if they do end up noticing as nothing was done to rectify the situation...no offer to refund me, an apology, NOTHING!!!! Update: 1/4/24 - I haven't been shopping at this store but was in the area today so decided to stop in...didnt even get in the front door and found a homeless guy sleeping on the ground right outside the store entrance and another guy in the parking lot bothering an elderly lady to do some unsolicited work to her car. I decided to call the store manager as I was leaving to let him know what's going on in the parking lot of his store as he's obviously doesn't know or doesn't care as many times before there has been a panhandler riding around the parking lot on his electric scooter bothering customers asking for money. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS STORE....you'd think it was in a bad part of town bit it's Summerlin, in a Senior Community. Anyway, I never got to talk to the manager as Christine, who answered the phone first put me on a very long hold and then she came back on and asked who I was waiting for and after I told her, she hung up. Pictures of homeless guy outside store added to this post."
"Excellent kosher section , very good option to travel kosher to Las Vegas."
"For some reason things found typically in the pharmacy are in two areas. I wanted a pain relief patch. It's in a gated area where you pay for items at the gate. The woman checking me out didn't have any regard for the customer. Everything was a major inconvenience. How dare the item need to be scanned and put in a bag! How dare I expect her to hand it to me! Well just toss it towards the customer. Who needs basic manners. The receipt printer is near the customer. Yes they can easily grab it themselves. Again basic manners have the cashier hand items to the customer. Her disregard for my purchase and me as a person bothered me. I looked for a manager to tell them about this. I found someone to talk to and began to describe what happened. Well the cashier interrupted to aggressively state how wrong I am about her being rude. I told her that she's being rude right now. Apparently in her world interrupting a conversation and being aggressive is not rude. She storms off in a huff, which just proves me right. It starts escalating from there. I'm doing my best to stay calm. She kept being aggressive, and I really wanted to punch her. I sigh, turn, and leave which she took as a victory to boast over. I'm sitting in the car and finding that I can't calm down. Getting upset has serious health ramifications for me. It took me over 10 minutes to calm down enough to just barely function. It took about 20 minutes to return to a fully functional person. If I didn't have someone with me to calm me down, I would have needed medical attention. We're not going to this store again."
"Great selection of just about anything you may need. There's a Starbucks coffee as soon as you walk in the door. They have an awesome Deli, as well as a Kosher section if you desire. Selection of fruits and vegetables are always fresh and very well arranged. They have a pharmacy too. Oh yes, i forgot to mention fresh flowers for your wife or girlfriend."
