"Had an oil change and brake fluid change done. Service was rendered in a timely manner and the complimentary inspection report was nice. The one minor gripe I do have is that they rotated my tires without asking me first. How are they suppose to know the last time I rotated my tires if they do not ask me about it? Luckily, I was about 1000 miles shy from the next recommended time for a tire rotation, so I was not too concerned about them doing this. Still, I would have appreciated them asking me about rotating tire before the service was done."

"I usually have a good experience with People Boys, this one was fine but not great. Brought the car in for 3 issues (1) battery issues; (2) brake inspection and possibly pad replacement; and (3) car shaking a bit at high speeds. They were prompt. Called me the next morning to share what needed to be done. However some issues arise later. For the brakes, they said the pads were "cracked," and so I agreed to replace over the phone. However when I later reviewed the inspection report, the included pictures were taken from too far away to tell if this was really an issue. As the pads were not low on thickness, I really can't confirm that this replacement was actually needed. For the shaking, I had previously bought all four tires and installation from Pep Boys. This was nice as they balanced them for no charge this time. However, I did not notice any improvement in my issue. Worse, a day later, I noticed a hubcap missing. Since I have not lost a hubcap before, this was seemingly broken or not put back on correctly during service. The battery was replaced, but even that was just over 3 years old (just out of warranty, and also previously purchased and installed at pep boys). I was out of luck and it was a $200 charge for the battery (which was $125 purchased in 2021)."
