"I came in with my car to get new tires on the front since they had bubbles. I stated to the receptionist that I needed my FRONT tires replaced. She then proceeded to ask the year make and model then asked if it was an all wheel drive. I said no it's a rwd. So when they were done I expected to have new tires all the way around. Because I bought the back tires from them not even a month before. Well instead of changing the front they took off the brand new tires off the back and left my bad front tires. I alerted the receptionist. I made it clear that the front needed to have the new tires and the ones they took off the back needed to be put back on the rims. Then the next thing I do is double check and watch them try and put the bad tires on the back after I said they were no good multiple times. I had to then stop the mechanic who didn't speak English. Who also went to get the receptionist for the third time. Finally they took my brand new tires they took off the back and replaced them with the ones that were bad. I normally haven't issues with this company but lately they haven't been doing very well. My advice learn Spanish if you want your stuff right. Or go somewhere else."

"If you’re the type of person who does a ton of research and reads reviews and are looking to get some work done on your vehicle, save yourself some time and read this review. I know it’s long but it should give you a sense of what this place really is. Last week I purchased a used Ram 1500 that needed new brakes, tires and an alignment. I doubted that I could find somewhere that would be competitively priced that could do it all. But I was going to try. I didn’t want to set appointments and drop the vehicle off at several different places. My first goal was to find the right tires and price them. I checked everywhere from Walmart to tire rack. I called every local shop from Reno to Truckee and the lowest I could find them elsewhere was $350 each. I asked that place what they would charge for all of the work I needed and they quoted me $2,500. Which was more than I wanted to spend. Plus they said I’d have to wait till the following week for the tires to come in. Luckily I found Affordable Brakes and Tires on google. I was immediately hopeful because affordability was in the name. Not only did they quote me $750 less than the last place but they told me I could bring the vehicle in that day. All of that was exciting. But what would I be sacrificing going to this shop instead? I read some of the reviews from when the shop had a previous owner and thankfully I didn’t let any of the less than positive comments stop me. They far exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond for me. The work was done right and in the time frame I was told. They even had these digital reports I’d never seen at any other shop before. Very fancy. Stephanie and Vanessa were phenomenal. They know their stuff and were very knowledgeable and helpful about some of the other stuff going on with my vehicle that needed to be addressed. And it never felt like an upsell like you experience at every oil change spot. I will definitely be taking all my vehicles here from now on. What more can you ask for in a shop. The best prices! Quality work! Honesty! If at this moment, you are doing the google till your mind goes numb trying to figure out where to take your vehicle. Your wallet will thank you for coming here."
