"I dropped 2 shun knives off here 2 weeks ago. A 7in chefs knife and 5in nakiri. They are not familiar with shun, which should have been my first warning sign. I called today inquiring about my knives and was informed that they were really behind, had a sharpener quit and that it would be another week or less until they were done. 3 week's to sharpen 12in of knives..."
"The staff are helpful and friendly. The tools will not be cleaned, however. Many places that do sharpening also clean the tools up as part of the service, but Apex Saw & Tool most definitely does not do this at all. The sharpening is not especially well-done - it clearly is something they don't spend much time on and do a very quick job on the tools to get them out as quickly as possible. Prices are average."

Marcy was to answer all of my questions and even provided me with some useful tips. The prices are reasonable and they deliver to Tahoe. Apex for the win!"
