"My daughter has taken lessons at Golden Ridge Stables for over a year. She had learned a lot about caring for horses and the proper mechanics of riding. The stable has a great group of riders with lots of activities for young horse enthusiasts. They just had a wonderful Halloween party where our 12 year old daughter dressed up a horse in a costume to match hers that she created. Also, she competed in her first horse show at the stable. Golden Ridge Stables - A great group of people that our whole family enjoys being around."

"This place is a great stepping stone for beginner riders! Students learn the basics of grooming, walking, saddling, and taking care of their horses with help of their instructor and an assistant. Golden Ridge offers a several in house fun shows for students to get the horse show experiences and can move up to other local shows. Lots of fun activities and open houses through out the year. There is ability to ride all year round with an indoor arena and a fairly large outdoor. Stalls are cleaned 3 times a week and hay/grain is fed twice a day. There is limited turn out space. Some of the show girls seem to have their own clique. Unfortunately with the loss of their horse trainer and Class A horse show coach if you wish to compete at the higher levels or wish to purchase your own horse best to seek help elsewhere."

We came from a background with no horse experience, but a daughter with a dream to ride. GRS has developed her into a skilled and confident rider. I love the family and friend atmosphere at the barn as well as the friends I’ve made at barn events and lessons. The instruction is clear and sequential, instructors are kind and provide age and skill appropriate instruction, and the horses are well cared for and well loved. Students can choose to experience showing horses at a local and sometimes national level as they progress with their skills or can take lessons and ride just for the love of horses.
