"Horrible customer service! Office staff has no idea how to talk to patients on the phone respectfully. They call me to reschedule then-transfers me to schedule an appointment (that they’re canceling )taking three days and five people in the office and about seven phone calls in order to get scheduled for a stress test.I was put on hold for 13 min before I hung up and called and threatened to speak to the office manager about their behavior. Suddenly out of blue, 5 min later somebody kindly calls and makes my appointment. These girls are incompetent and need more office training to run this business. Some of theses patients have cancer and are running out of time- so the phone game is not so funny."
"Your "Do NOT Answer The Phone" policy just cost you $3995 for lab tests I had elsewhere. I played phone tag with your staff for about a week trying to get the information my health insurance company requested with zero success. I even drove the 20-miles to the Carson City office to get the information, but you would have thought I asked your administrative staff to swim the English Channel. I still didn't get the information I needed, so I drove to Carson Valley Hospital in Gardnerville. I handed them my paperwork and with a day they confirmed with my health insurance I was covered and called me to make the necessary appointments. I bet this happens a lot."
"I've tried to set an appointment for my 80yr old mother calling a few times now and am disenchanted. For one thing, their office hours (according to the recording you get when calling) are over at 4:30. I tried calling yesterday between 4:30 and 5 o'clock, Fair enough. So the next day (today) I called and their recording said to leave a message and they'll call me back, Which I did. So it gets to be a little after 4pm and nothing yet but I set an alarm for 4:25 so I'd have a chance to possibly catch someone before they close. Wouldn't you know it that when I called, It went straight to their answering service. I asked the young lady if I could leave a message for them to call me and she said "I can't" "The only thing I can do is take appointment cancellations". So many snarky thoughts of what to reply with but I just said "Thank you" as she hung up on me. If I don't hear back from them tonight I'm just gonna have to walk in their door in person and handle this. Not very user friendly."
"Very disrespectful to customers time and requests. During my Dr appointment last year the Dr requested I call a few wks early to get a prescription for blood work. January 2019 I called to confirm my appointment for June 18th, 2019 and confirm they still accept my insurance. All good. I called at the end of May to have a prescription sent to me per the Dr's request. I was told by a nurse that if the Dr wants blood work he will do that during my June 18th appointment. Even after telling the nurse I'm driving over 500 miles for this appointment, that I was not staying in the Carson area and the Dr did request the prescription last year. The nurse had absolutely no interest in my request to with the Dr who requested the prescription during my last appointment. In fact was quite bossy and rude! Wish I would have saved her name. I arrive for my appointment, checked in and waited in the waiting room. While waiting the front desk person came out to inform me they do not take my insurance. After over 42 years in healthcare (over 23 years in private practice) I have never seen such disregard for a customers time and requests. If I had this type of incompetence and disrespect for clients in my office someone would be gone. I would give the Dr's I have seen in this office 4-5 stars."
"Tammy who answers the phone does not even let you finish talking before she transfers you to Sharon's voice mail, who by the way does not return phone calls. I have left 2 messages and I am still waiting for a return call. They billing company they have hired CTC - Carson City takes you payment and does not follow instructions and applies the money where ever. I call that company on 4/2/19 spoke with Connie after being on hold for 30 minutes. She states they are short staffed and she will fix the error. Well she didn't and now CTC-Carson City does not answer there phones nor do they return phone messages. They cashed my check and misapplied my payment and continue to send me bills!"
