Tahoe Orthopedics & Sports Medicine 935 Mica Drive, Carson City, NV 89705

"Recently Tahoe fracture and orthopedics had changed ownership and I wanted a smaller facility. I looked up Tahoe orthopedics and sports medicine and saw they were in network, had all my records (years worth) sent over. I went and saw first visit Dr Kyle Swanson and it was less than enthusiastic with his bedside manner all the things I scheduled for they would only look at 1 item but scheduled me for multiple, never even looked at my previous medical records. Had to return due to having a injection done, said they submitted to insurance and was approved, I said it looks like just my copay and they said yes, went in for the appt and said it’s just the copay. Again said yes. 2 months later getting a bill for the injections that was never discussed, estimated or told upfront to me. This facility is less than professional, they don’t care about the patient just the money, tried to contact the manager Goldie McCauley multiple times with very little communication back from her (less than professional) and was only wanting a resolution of the bill I received that was never estimated up front, the last 4 messages I have sent or left on voicemail never responded to. I have tried to call and message over 8 times. So then I tried to reach another manager Karen Conant with 2 emails and no call back. I have tried to call patient experience at the number listed under other reviews no call back. So if you’re looking for a place that treats you well and calls you back and has their patients best interest at heart I highly recommend you do not go here. Worst customer service medical facility ever, I will not be going back and hope you heed my advice."

"Very unfortunate that medical personnel have become so unprofessional. Veterans community care attempted to fax the authorization from January 12th to January 16th,I called tahoe sports medicine, got fax number for veterans,veterans faxed over paper work, JANUARY 22ND I CALL THEY SAY WE DIDNT GET YOUR FAX, I SAY ,I KNOW YOU DID,PERHAPS A COMPLAINT AT THE NEVADA MEDICAL BOARD WILL HELP,AMAZING THE PAPWR WORK WAS FOUND,WAS TOLD REHA WOULD CALL TO SCHEDULE. NOPE RENO TAHOE SPORTS MEDICINE, ASKED ABOUT MY LEG ISSUES, THEY DECLINED SERVICES TO A VETERAN IN PAIN GO AMERICANS"

"Dr didn't even look to see if my mri was in the system before I came in. Why even come?"

"The office and doctor let me down so many times. Kept giving them chances but finally left. Advising my family and friends not to go here. The thought of getting a surgery with them makes me nervous. They are not proficient at navigating insurance and would send me the full medical bill. My insurance said they never got a payment request from this office. I make the drive to the ROC in Reno and have been happy."
