"WARNING! Do not let these people install your trailer hitch! They screwed up my electrical system and didn't properly torque the bolts. Go to the Blaine U-Haul. They pulled a jumper connector plug and threw it away. It connected all of the sensors to the instrument panel. Then they threw it way and lied about it. I had to personally dive into the dumpster to retrieve it."

"After receiving an email from U-Haul requesting a review, they were dumb enough to ask me to post my 1 star review on google. So here it is- When I made my reservation I said that I would drop the truck off at the same location. When I picked up the truck, I was asked if I would be willing to drop it off at another location for a reduced price. I was told that the reduced price would be just the price for the in town rental and the other fees would be waived. I drove 5 miles from this location to my apartment and then to my house. I drove another 15 miles to bring the truck back to the other location requested. It was after hours so I had to do the self drop off online. I was being charged for 2 gallons of gas. I explained in the comments that I was told this fee would be waived and submitted for review. A few days later I received an email with a receipt that I was charged for the gas without any response from U-Haul regarding my request for review since I was told those fees would be waived. Incredibly frustrating that I was told the fees would be waived and then was charged for gas that realistically was used to bring the truck to the other location. I absolutely will not ever agree to anything other than what I reserved in the future."

"I made an online reservation for a truck got to the location to pic up the truck they told me that truck wasn’t available and charged me $30 plus dollars more for a truck two sizes bigger. I returned the truck after hours my reservation was not showing in the app for me to check the truck in as returned so I called when the store open to explain that and the guy on the phone was rude and inconsiderate I was charged with additional fees totaling to almost $200 dollars the guy was rude told me to he does his job a certain way and to call back and talk to a manager at a later date. Also the truck I given has transmission issues need a wheel alignment and has trouble accelerating witch I felt unsafe in with my kids I tried explaining that as well and was read off some line from a book how the trucks were old and pretty much you get what you get when this wasn’t even the truck I reserved online to begin with…Don’t recommend this place if you must rent here an is your only option like mines take pictures of everything."

"When asked how many miles I would be using the employee put in 25 I told him I would actually only be using about 13 and asked him to correct the entry more than one time. He ignored my request and avoided my request.. please note the actual mileage was 14 miles driven. The truck ran very rough and had no acceleration even when not loaded. The employee never took the time to review any part of the contract with me or inform of a $20 after hours fee that I clearly would/could have avoided! When I dropped the truck off at 9:10pm there was an employee on site he was locking up a van in back when I pulled in. He in fact showed me where the drop box was for the key. Never once did he inform me I would be charged an extra fee that I could avoid by being at the facility when they reopened in the morning! I would avoid this location at all cost since they certainly do not try to help you save any money rather they look for anyway to change you even more than agreed to."
