"The atmosphere when you come in I am met with a majestic and upscale Japanese restaurant. Everyone on staff was helpful and knowledgeable. I got the house Sake hot, very good taste for house quality. The Miso soup has a fantastic savory umami and I adored the flower art with my sushi rolls. The Waikiki was a blast from a tropical paradise, while the Shrimp Killer Roll was a delicious combination of shrimp and scallions with spicy mayo that was to die for. Let’s not forget the Gyoza, I loved the way the dough surfaced was crispy and the sauce was absolute. Highly recommended, 10/10."
"This place has many sushi roll options! I had the double yellowtail, it was delicious. The restaurant is super cute and the waiter was attentive. Highly recommend to grab a creative sushi roll."
"Went for sushi lunch at kaizen sushi. The place was not crowded and we were promptly greeted by the chef making sushi. We were seated a few minutes later. The lunch special was $24.95 and it included 9 pieces of sushi and a small side roll and cup of miso soup. The water was $4.50 and diet coke $3 a can and $10 for hot saki. The sushi was beautiful but no wasabi on another of it you had to ask for wasabi and soy sauce. Strange.... also there was either a taste of soap or strange lemon with the sushi. Not sure if the plate wasn't rinsed or it was lemon. The rice didn't stay together well on the sushi, as it broke apart easily when using chop sticks. Overall it was a little pricey but the atmosphere was nice. The chairs were uncomfortable to sit on as we asked for a table and didn't sit in the wood benches. Eh it was ok but you can do better for the price point."
"Service was spectacular, the food was amazing and the hot sake we ordered complimented the dishes extraordinarily well. Our server was incredibly polite. We loved the music, it was the perfect volume and the song choice was perfect. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice dinner or any other occasion. We will be making this place a regular stop for date night."
"Wow!! Kaizen!! What a little gem of a restaurant!! Super cute spot and a great place for an affordable, romantic dinner. My boyfriend and I loved the decor! The service was impeccable and very friendly. Mussels! (Baked New Zealand Mussels in Dynamite sauce) Probably the best mussels I've ever had. Not overcooked; sauce wasn't overwhelming; they were so good I wish we had ordered two orders!!! They are that good! Sushi roll recommendation: Orange Blossom! All the rolls we ordered (three total) were great! We had the Jay Roll, Sour Candy Roll, (topped with thin slices of lemon), but the Orange Blossom Roll was our favorite by far! Definitely a reorder along with the New Zealand Mussels! This is our new sushi spot in Las Vegas!"
