Yu or Mi Sushi 6922 South Durango Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89148

"Located in the fabulous new Durango Casino “Eat Your Heart Out” food court, Yu or Mi is a solid choice for hotel guests. The sushi was serviceable and at least average by elevated Vegas standards. (Probably about the same quality as good AYCE places in the area.) The lukewarm miso soup could have been served hotter. Given that it’s located in the hotel, prices were elevated. The iced green tea made fresh with matcha powder is recommended but as such no refills. Service was excellent at well. If you have a comp, this is a solid choice to satisfy that Japanese craving. For locals and visitors with transport, it’s not a destination restaurant and there are several higher quality and cheaper alternatives in the area."

"This was our first time visiting Durango and we immediately headed to Yu or Mi Sushi. I was craving something fresh after my flight. It was so good that we headed back another time during our vacation! First the drinks. My husband ordered the $30 old fashioned which I probably wouldn’t do. But it was good. My lychee martini was sweet but good and balanced. I also ordered hot tea one day and bad news: the tea comes in bags. The food is amazing. I love that they fried the Amaebi heads; that is my favorite part! The uni pasta was creamy and delicious- if I wasn’t watching my carb intake, I would’ve ordered another! The sashimi salad was extremely light and refreshing with great fish selection. The dressing was on the light side for me so I added some soy sauce and it was perfect. It’s pretty substantial too so it was filling. I cannot wait to go back!"

"One of the best in Vegas! We came in to checkout the new casino and have dinner. While there we found this place and didn't even have to wait in line. The sushi was perfect and they put caviar on some of the menu items which is an amazing addition Our server was great and recommended some of the drinks which were also great. The sushi, sake and Japanese whiskey were all perfect. We loved it so much that my gf is bringing me back this weekend for my birthday dinner. Yay!!! Sharon is very pleasant and helpful"

"Great food in general, the place is right in the entrance of the new Durango Casino, the food was great except one dish that I would Change for sure and that is the Shishito Peppers, they are putting chilly sauce on it and I don’t thinks that is the right thing to do, makes it over spicy and if other people that eat mild and not spicy can’t even touch it but everything else was great! The service was amazing by the way, very high end service standards. The fried rice is a must, vegetable Tempura is a bomb and some of the appetizers as well. I do recommend this place."
