"Macaroni Grill offers a decent dining experience with standout olive oil and bread. The latter stands out for its purity and the distinct, rich flavor of 100% olives, offering a genuine taste experience that is both refined and memorable. However, their pasta dishes feel overpriced compared to competitors like Rail City, which offers excellent value. when considering the pricing of the pasta offerings, one might discern a disparity between value and cost, particularly in comparison to alternatives in the market. Special pricing could make it more appealing for return visits. Despite this, the cozy ambiance and excellent customer service make it a pleasant place to eat. The ambiance at Macaroni Grill is notably comfortable , contributing positively to the overall dining experience. Additionally, the level of customer service is commendable, with staff demonstrating attentiveness and professionalism that significantly elevate the dining experience."
"The food is delicious. Service excellent. Decor lovely, the way a quality restaurant should be. We shared the Lasagna. Wonderful. Fresh baked bread is free! The 5 oz glass of Chianti was $8 on Sat. Happy Hour is M-Th from 3-7 so it would be cheaper on those days. Highly recommend!"
"Ordered a family meal to go. Everything went smoothly with ordering and paying and food was ready quickly, but wasn’t until we got home that we realized they gave us the wrong pasta. My three kids all refused to eat it. I had even said if they didn’t have the pasta we wanted, we’d do spaghetti. My husband and I had plenty of food but I had to also make food for my kids so it was frustrating. The fettuccine Alfredo wasn’t very good. The bread, salad, and Brussel Sprouts were great!"
"Okay for Italian chain restaurants. The food was a average, interior was classic fine Italian but the service was outstanding. The food tasted fine but not great. The wife's Mac and cheese was bland at best. The chicken marsala was good but the angel hair pasta was dry and tough. The starters of soup and salad were good. The rosemary bread was fantastic. I have always enjoyed the interior of the Macaroni Grill. It reminds me of something out of the movie "The Godfather". Our server was fantastic. No drink ran dry. No plate remained on the table. Requests were quickly taken care of. I was duly impressed. I did notice that the restaurant was almost empty of patrons. It was a Tuesday night but it was really empty. Thanksgiving 2023 update. Last year (2022) I had a n unfortunate family event and had to go out of town until Thanksgiving day. The wife found Romano's open, so off we went. They served a somewhat traditional meal. Everything was good. This year, as empty nesters, we decided to go back to Romano's. We reserved space for 2pm instead of the 7pm of last year. Basically the same meal with one exception, the portions and freshness were 100% better. Our advise, go early."
"It was great eating! The food was very flavorful! They brought us out some dipping bread with oil and vinegar and it was spectacular! For my main course I ordered the Mom’s Spaghetti, with the meat sauce! It was delicious! That being said I felt like the menu was relatively small. For dessert we ordered the chocolate cake and it was also spectacular! My 4/5 stars is a result of the service, we felt neglected. When we got to the table it only had 2 of the 4 place settings. Meaning we didn’t have forks/napkins for half our party. The waiter didn’t notice and did not check in regularly, so I eventually got up and stole some from another empty table. Similarity the drinks weren’t refilled promptly. For context the restaurant was nearly empty. Overall food was delicious."
