"Incredibly welcoming environment and staff. Our waiter was fantastic and attentive. We ordered the large Ceaser- enough for 3-4 people. Great option and fantastic dressing. Focciaca bread was delicious. Pasta was to die for. Can’t complain and will be back. Good lighting that is not too dim. Just right. Love that they are open till 10pm- most places close crazy early so this was a nice late night after work surprise!"
"Here’s the abbreviated version: Food- amazing Service-attentive and knowledgeable Atmosphere – great community vibe Menu selection – exactly what I’ve been looking for Now for the details : My husband and i just got back from 15 days in Italy. While I was there I was able to drink wine everyday and have pizza/pasta everyday with no negative reactions in my body. They just do things differently in Europe. Coming home and having to go back to restrictions was tough to say the least. Imagine my delight when I found out that DOPO uses only 00 organic flour for all of their made-in-house pizza and pasta! They let the pizza dough rest for 72 hours making the most amazing crust! It’s not “similar” to what we had in Italy- it’s exactly like what we had in Italy! Another thing that’s a challenge for me is California wines. With few exceptions they have so many additives and manipulations that I almost always get a headache. Not here! Not a single California wine on the menu. And their digestives list! It’s been a while since a “new” restaurant excited me this much (new to me anyway lol). Eric was amazing! We will be back…often!!"
"I waited until my 5th visit to review this joint. Honestly, don’t go. You will hate it. It’s real pizza, made with real ingredients, and your subhuman Pizza Hut mind won’t get it. Stay away simpleton. This is honestly the only great thin crust pizza joint in Reno, a desolate, pizza deprived town. Stay away from my spot, it’s too good for you, ya nonsense dingbat. Staff is impeccable, bartenders are some of the best in Reno, but you want papa Murphy’s boo, you want cheap, fast, and full of calories. You want greasy orange slicks and endlessly meat filled bread crackers served in a cardboard box. You won’t like this place. Go away now, stop reading and get the door, it’s dominoes you want."
"Don't sleep on one of Reno's best pizza joints in town. Their pizza selections are both familiar and bold. The Fig and Pig is not to be missed. The cocktails are hand crafted and made to order; quite delicious. What also really shines is the stellar service; how refreshing to have such friendly, down to earth service in Midtown. Highly recommend. Grab one of the outdoor tables for a nice warm evening with a breeze."
