"BE CAREFUL WHO FIXES YOUR HOME!! Do NOT let one of their crews work on your home without checking in on them and overseeing the work they are doing. A few years ago we had some water damage to our home. We had to move out while Service Pro fixed it because of mold. $44,000 worth of damage paid for by insurance, took 4 months to complete. A couple of years ago, we noticed a shift in the floors and contributed it to the foundation settling. UNTIL the floors literally started pulling away from the frame. NOW we are having to have ALL OF THEIR WORK redone because of shoddy workmanship. PARTICLE board was used on the floors - PARTICLE BOARD!!! Not even good wood!! Supposedly the mold problem was solved, EXCEPT it was discovered they had only treated SOME of the mold and had actually butted the NEW particle board up against damaged wood with mold on it. NO VAPOR BARRIER - NONE was placed on the repaired floors. ZERO VAPOR BARRIER except A SHEET of vapor barrier was hanging between the crawlspace that separated the damaged side from the undamaged side. Not only that, but they had closed ALL THE VENTS in the crawlspace for some reason. The floor joists are having to be repaired with beams because even THOSE were not repaired correctly. Basically our crawlspace has been a haven for moisture and mold, with the cheapest wood they could find. I contribute this work to an unsupervised crew that could get away with the cheapest products, and no one seeing what they were actually doing when they did it."
