"Definitely worth the visit. Some construction currently going on so you can't approach the gold doors. However, you can enter the Capitol beneath or on the sides to go through security. This is one of the prettiest Capitol buildings I have ever entered, especially at Christmastime. The people are very friendly!"
"We just happened to be in Little Rock on the same weekend as the Capital Lighting and Fireworks. What a fun and exciting Tradition! We stopped at a local restaurant (The Blisspoint Family Grill) and got food to take to the outdoor lighting. On the back side of the Capital very near our parking spot were dozens of picnic tables. We sat and enjoyed our dinner and watched the amazing fireworks show! And when the Grand Finale came and all the building's lights came on we cheered out loud and yelled "Merry Christmas" along with many other visitors. What impressed us most was how incredibly festive the interior was and that we were able to roam freely throughout the whole building taking in all the wonderful sights and decorations. We especially enjoyed the "window displays" full of stories and histories of many beloved Christmas traditions. Everyone was so friendly and festive. WELL DONE, ARKANSAS; YOU IMPRESSED US!"
"Must see when in Little Rock and you like architecture. Very welcoming and friendly staff plus the entrance is free, as well as packing right in front. The self guided tour shows all corners and floors of this magnificent building. Entry is a bit hidden, so not immediately clear that you can visit. Entry is one level directly below the majestic bronze doors."
"Stopped in on a blistering hot humid Saturday with a severe storm bearing down so this was a quick walk-around visit. Immense, impressive, this Capitol stands out. The grounds are well kept with statues and memorials dotting various points. I was heartened to see a memorial to Arkansas Confederate soldiers, no BLM nonsense tolerated here, nor any homeless encampments or litter. Immaculate and beautiful area. Being a Saturday there were no tours, gift shop closed but I was able to sneak in an open back door to take a quick photo of the dome interior. I'll be back to take a proper tour in the future. This should be on your list to see when in Little Rock."
"We had a great time taking the tour. This place was packed with am event going on but the tour guide did her best to keep us together and speak loud so we all could hear. The best part of the tour was going into the vault and holding $600,000 in CASH. We didn't get the visit the floor of the senate or house cause they were getting ready for upcoming meetings. We did get to see it from the gallery and the place was beautiful. If your in the area go enjoy the free tour."
