"I am a current resident at woodland and management approved maintenance to come into my apartment without giving a proper notice. I have rented for many years and know that tenants have rights. They don’t give a 24 hour notice. They let themselves into your apartment without your knowledge. They don’t leave a note or call to confirm a time and date. I had a work order put in 6 months ago from the time I first moved in by management. Which was just a refrigerator drawer. I don’t feel that it was an urgent situation that needed immediate entry, being that it’s been 6 months. I understand this is your place of work but this is where I live. As a resident I should comfortable in my own space. This should NEVER happen. This is unacceptable. I am not satisfied on how management handle this situation and I would like something to happen. I am a single mother of 4 children and should feel safe in my own home. You guys need to do better. Even a slumlord knows not to over step these boundaries. The lease also states and I quote: “We have the right to enter the apartment for reasonable business purposes after making a good faith effort to give you reasonable notice under the circumstances of our intent to enter.” UNLESS the suspicion of a criminal act, emergency or maintenance emergency. Proper protocol was not made in this situation."
"Residents are treated very poorly here. Have had my car towed twice here while being a resident. We have had no formal notice that there was a new parking pass to be required. Management said that there was “letters” in doors but multiple people did not receive a letter, including myself. There was no emails, texts, or calls. Management had no remorse and did not care about their residents. Had to pay over $850 to get my car out as well as my roommates. Very Poor communication here. There is only a few visitors spots to park, so if you have a visitor as a resident, make sure to make parking arrangements elsewhere to avoid getting towed. This puts financial hardships on residents that pay to live here, have children, and need their cars to get to work to pay their rent, etc. I hope something changes around here and hopefully there will be a fair resolution to this ongoing issue. I do believe this issue is just with woodland park apartments management, as dominium overall really works with you."
"my car was towed because they decided to change vendors 365$ bill, they should've made it their business to make sure residents got new parking permits we had valid ones it's not our fault they decided to change vendors it was short notice and during the holidays nonetheless I really do hope to change my review in the future. This used to be a really nice place to live when Trish was here I hope New Management can do better."
"My father is a senior citizen and his application was denied due to not having an incoming income of 2 and 1/2 times his proposed monthly rent coming in. His credit score was well above the acceptable rate and so was his past rental history but he was still denied. At the time of the application he was asked to submit a $300 deposit to hold the renal property. It has been almost three weeks since they took the funds and we are still waiting for the reimbursement. It only took them two business days to deny the application. It seems to me they are really anxious to get your money in their hands, but not so willing to return it. I have e-mailed them requesting the refund, but have had no response."
"After looking into this organization, and the vibe of the place, I decided to move elsewhere. I was offered a conditional approval, but was told to pay twice the first months rent. I cancelled my application but they took my deposit and they continue to hold on to it. I was told it was standard procedure and they'll have it back to me "after 30 days". Wasn't given any good reason as to why it needs to take that long. I was also mislead during the application process a few times. Be careful and do your research before placing a deposit!"
