Anoka Flats Apartments

"My son moved in a month ago. Quite honestly, his apartment is decent. Beautiful view of the golf course and it appeared they had cleaned the carpet and did some painting. The issue is outside. You pull up and see a bunch of banged up garage doors and junk laying around the property. It would look more appealing if the management would fix this. I bet a lot of people drive right by when they see the outside. First impressions are important! Its embarassing."

"This place is cheap! And you pay for what you get! Lived here for 6 months. We don't get hot or warm water 75% of the time. Sometimes I come home and there is no where to park. 10/10 would rent again."

"For the most part it's not a bad place to live. BUT parking sucks with not enough spaces, garbage area is always overflowing, building doesn't always get cleaned. If your handicapped it's NOT a good place to live. The sidewalks are almost always covered in snow, no handrails to hold on parts of the buildings and the parking lot DOESN'T get plowed til 3-6 days later. Owner and new management company are not the best"

"I haven't been here long yet but I really love it here. It's got a great location - directly off hwy 10, it's secluded and quiet since it's up against the Greenhaven Golf course. Just down the road from historic Downtown Anoka. They're no five star luxury building with all these amenities you think you want and never use but still pay for. My unit is updated and clean, very bright with a large balcony, perfect for me and my daughter. PLUS they take dogs at the most affordable rate in the area. I really can't say enough good things about their care takers, these people take their job seriously and have been very good to my daughter and I, very welcoming. The grounds are clean and groomed, with a commuinty courtyard around back. The neighbors are respectful and either nice or keep to themselves and the owner was very kind and straightforward during the leasing process, even worked with my bad credit! I could ramble one but needless to say, overall its a great place to live."

"This place is absolute trash, and as much as they like to say they're turning it around, they have no interest in it. When we came for a tour, they told us they'd be updating the counters, cupboards, and all appliances, so we thought we'd give it a shot and sign the lease because the location was convenient for us. After a week of trying to get ahold of the property manager, he told us he would be updating none of these things. No thanks, I don't care to live in the 70s. Thankfully we got our money back and avoided this disaster. Save your money, you can get a MUCH nicer place, CHEAPER in our case, where the caretaker doesn't tell tales of prostitution and drugs.
