"Don't be fooled by the prices they advertise. Everything you pay is separate so might has well go find a WAY better and cheaper apartment somewhere else. Nothing works. Water is always getting turned off. Or there isn't any warm water . Our unit is suppose to be "remodeled" they just did a mediocre paint job over all the dents and holes of this place. Ive done multiple maintenance request to get things fixed and it hasn't, they just come and say they'll come back and never do. The building is freezing ! Yet the gas bill is always so high. They give a 24 hour notice to cars parked in your PAID parking spot to get towed while if you as a resident park in the wrong spot OUTSIDE you get towed right away and they can't do anything about it. You hear every step of your neighbour's even when they shower or open there cabinets that's is how bad it is. Trash bins are outside so while we're paying $40 in trash we still have to go outside in these freezing g temperatures to throw our trash. Weed filled buildings cops are here least once a week. Just an awful place . Managment doesn't know what is going on. Can't wait to to get out of here."
"For the price, you could find a place with better management. It's a shame because it would actually be a decent place if it had frequent maintenance. Unfortunately there isn't so sometimes you have to wait over a month to get a working oven or have a free for all over the only working washing machine in the laundry room just to find out that one hardly works either."
"I moved in Saturday December 16th and it’s now December 22nd and I have only spent 3 nights in my apartment. I took a walk through the 15th and was informed that I’ll be all set by the 16th. As I started to put things away I noticed how nasty and dirty things were and how broke down and sloppy and unfixed things were. They painted and made things look ok on the outside but on the inside it was all bad. Me and my child has been out the apartment for a while. One lady offered to credit me back December rent and to get workers and cleaner in to repair and clean the place. I go to check on the place and noticed how trashed the workers made my bedroom and how it didn’t make sense to any of them to cover my things before working so all my things are dusty. I have kept pics and videos for legal reasons. My child and I are currently bouncy from friends houses because there’s no where for us to go. The place didn’t even asked or offer to put us in a hotel and when I asked, the lady I spoke with told me my child and I can come at night to spend a night!!!! I’m praying this turn around. I gave 1 start only cause you can’t give no stars"
"Lived here for about 2 years, through 3 different management companies and we absolutely hated it. Reason 1 - The floors & walls are paper thin, you hear absolutely everything and anything all times of the day. Reason 2 - Smells absolutely horrible, the entire complex smells like BO, smoked marijuana , & cigarette's. Reason 3 - Not safe, we saw 3 separate police/swat raids happen on residents in the complex. Feels more like Brooklyn park than Plymouth. Reason 4 - Management is powerless in fixing these issues, it’s the residents that make it horrible, it’s not going to change at that price so stay away."
"You may see the low price to rent a two bedroom apartment with a good amount of square footage and think "it must be too good to be true", and that's because it is. The savings you might think you're getting by renting here aren't worth the horrible "amenities", litter, unresponsive staff, lack of basic security, lack of climate control, inability to recycle, poor upkeep, gross hallways, and disrespectful community. It is painfully obvious the management isn't concerned with improving the community, or even retaining residents for longer than a one year lease. They will gladly take your money and keep costs of maintaining the things that actually need improvement to a minimum. Instead of improving the broken and ineffective systems in place they would rather pay to landscape and paint the balcony railings. All the while the security doors all around the complex have been broken for months, hallways are filled with stained and smelly carpet. The parking lots are covered in trash. The laundry room is flooded with water and broken washing machines that barely clean your clothes. The staff employed here don't live on site and don't even know of the systems set in place here. I made a call once the heat was turned on for the season change when I could barely stand being in my apartment. It is currently Thanksgiving and it is 81 degrees fahrenheit in my apartment... When I bring this up to the management they tell me "turn down your thermostat" problem is… THERE IS NO THERMOSTAT. How are you in charge of an apartment complex and don't even know what heat system is in place. It is boiling in the winter without resident control and boiling in the summer as the only way to cool the apartment is two small and loud window A/C units. By far the worst part of living in Talus is the accepted filth and litter from the community. It's a pretty standard thing here to see trash blowing about the parking lots and the surrounding trees. The dumpsters are constantly overflowing which attracts pests and gives lazy people the excuse to place their garbage into the recycling dumpster, which in turn ruins the recycling process. Sometimes it is impossible to properly dispose of waste because there is so much trash that you physically cannot approach the dumpsters to dispose of it. This disregard for cleanliness is totally normalized basically everywhere. I see trash and belongings littering the hallways and storm drains from residents. The worst part of all of this is that when you try to bring these issues to management they tell you they are doing the best they can or that they are working on it, but I never see progress. The only way to communicate with the staff is through their resident portal app which I only sometimes get a reply from. On several occasions of trying to speak to the office they are closed during normal business hours. I even had the manager pretend she wasn't in her office when her secretary informed her I was looking to speak to her. In short, if you value a clean and respectable community where you can grow a family, or start your life away from home this is not the place."
