"My experience here so far has been nice. Moving was a hassle, as I am on the third floor and there is no elevator. Nevertheless, Janice has been very quick to respond - I usually message earlier than her hours so I don't forget, and she responds even though the office hours haven't started yet. Issues have been resolved quickly - had a key issue and someone was already at my door with a new key by the time I put my previous key in the mailbox and made it back up to my unit. The apartment may be outdated, but it is very spacious and the rent is low cost, as well as the only utility bill tenants are responsible to pay."
"5/5. I have enjoyed every single day of living here and I am very thankful for the opportunity to be here. The scenery and trails around here are great . Management is great and things get fixed in a timely manner if needed. Thank you to the Country Cove team!"
"The rent is cheap, but you get what you pay for. Management is TERRIBLE! Their water pressure on the third floor is dismal. Toilets don't flush so you are always plunging them. Management says its your fault and you as a tenant need to purchase a better toilet. Also management never cleaned my apartment prior to move in, and now expects me to leave it perfect. And management never went up with me to view it initially. The leasing lady won't leave her desk. Her hours are 1:15 - 5:00 M-F and heaven forbid you need assistance with anything, she is NOT flexible. And owner's son who is the maintenance person, is rude, and always says everything is the tenant's fault. They had to turn off water twice in our building and pressure is still awful. And none of their dishwashers work. All dishwashers are from the 70's or 80's. STAY AWAY!"
"As a place to live, a roof over your head it's not bad. That being said, management ended up making this a negative experience. A few items... Fairly soon after moving in, we had an electrical issue. A set of lights went out, with parts of the fixtures showing scorch marks. Having a basic knowledge of it, I checked the breaker box - nothing wrong. So I called management like I should. After management checked it out, they claimed the breaker was flipped and they just flipped it back. The fact that the fixture continued to scorch made me very nervous that the whole building would burn down. The manager also consistently called me "honey". Being a 20-something male, this made me very uncomfortable. I just wanted to be called by my name. Finally, there seemed to be unreasonable expectations for cleaning upon move out. We cleaned the whole unit according to the move out instructions, and yet I was told of a laundrey list of things that needed to be done. Then, when telling the manager that we cleaned the items, but we would revisited them I was told "I don't know what's up with this attitude". All in all, if this is your last resort, take it. However, in all other instances stay away from this place at all costs!"
"If I could give this apartment zero stars, I would. I can't even begin to describe the nightmare that ensued upon our moving out. We were literally harassed by the property manager, Janice on the sidewalk in front of other tenants. She attempted to humiliate us in front of other people by threatening us over the last months rent (which was paid on time). If you are desperate and absolutely have to move to this complex, take pictures of everything that is damaged before you move in. We were promised by Janice that we would not be charged for the carpets because she was getting them replaced after we moved out. Guess what!? We got charged nearly 500 dollars. She is a bully and has no qualms lowering herself to harassment if it means she will get her way. Good luck!"
