"Had an amazing little get-away here. The room was beautiful, the bed comfy, we even had a deck off the bedroom to watch the sunrise. Love having everything connected and convenient. Peggy and the staff at Current and Swirl were just the best! Highly recommend."

"Had a romantic Valentine’s Day celebration at MN’s oldest Bed & Breakfast! All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful - Shane gave us a fascinating tour of the hotel upon arrival and Nicole was a wonderful server at the restaurant. The fine dining experience was everything we had hoped it would be, and to top it all off the jacuzzi was a big hit!"

"Everyone was just wonderful! Peggy helped us choose the perfect accommodations and was so friendly and accommodating. I needed fresh spinach for medications I take and she made sure I had it at breakfast. Justin, the manager, made great recommendations for the meals, and was very helpful, even prepared a beautifulSteak Diane tableside one night. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The Inn was immaculately clean, and decorated with beautiful character. They have 3 restaurants on premise, all excellent so need to dine elsewhere. The buffet complimentary breakfast was also excellent. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. You won't be sorry if you choose to stay here."

"My wife and I attended a wine dinner at the Historic Afton House Inn on January 27. We made it into a mini vacation by spending the night in one of their cozy rooms. We started our experience by getting massages at the spa that is just down the street from the inn. The whole experience was a needed mid-winter distraction. The town of Afton is really quaint, like some small New England town. The wine dinner was exceptional, with a five-course dinner accompanied by wine pairings. Turns out one of the co-owners of the inn is a sommelier, and he provided some great wines and great commentary. The meal was tasty and varied throughout. Table side cooking demonstrations took place with each course. The service throughout our stay was the real key. From Dan who escorted us to our room, to Amanda in the wine shop adjacent to the inn, to Peggy, who helped us navigate the breakfast buffet (which comes with the room), to owner Dave Jarvis and his entire staff, everyone was extremely helpful and friendly."

"My husband and I stayed one night to celebrate his birthday at this historic inn. We were in room 7 and the room was fantastic! Absolutely loved the jacuzzi and the deck outside. The staff was so friendly and personable. They seemed to truly care about you as a person and to make sure all was well during our stay. We ate at the Currents Restaurant and it was delicious. Our bartender/waiter was phenomenal and he made the best mojito I have ever had! It is a unique and historic building which is incredibly fascinating! The location is great! Close to the hustle and bustle of the city but far enough to relax! Love this area and look forward to returning."
