Minnetonka Edgewater Apartments

"I've lived at Edgewater for over a year now and have nothing but good things to say. The staff is very attentive; anything I've needed fixed, which has been relatively little, has been taken care of promptly. The staff has even gone the extra mile any time I've needed something else that most property managers would tell you is not their job. The grounds and common areas are kept well and have all been through some major updating lately. The exercise room, although a bit dated, is better than most gyms and is rarely used, so you can stop paying for that every month and dealing with 50 other people waiting for the treadmill. Many units have in unit laundry, and for those that don't, the laundry facilities are great and modern. My single bedroom is plenty room for me and the view of Spring Park Bay is gorgeous! And if you so desire, there are boat slips available for less than any other place I've looked. The courtyard outside is lovely and has a great grill and "bonfire" setup. All of the other tenants are friendly and I've never been disturbed by loud noise or stomping around the units near me. Parking can be tight but there is always a space and when you leave, you're right in the middle of everything that Mound, Orono, Wayzata, and Spring Park have to offer! I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to live the lake life!"

"I loved living in the Minnetonka Edgewater Apartments. The owner, Mark, has done a fantastic job updating the building. The fitness center, laundry room, and patio with lakeside grills are wonderful. My unit had everything from granite counter tops, updated cabinets, recessed lighting, completely updated bathroom, to new carpet. Both the owner and building manager are very friendly and get to know you as part of the community. Both are available by email or text any time. All communication is timely and very straight forward. I would highly recommend this building!"

"lived there for almost 3 years and found it a really pleasant stay. Just at the time I moved there new management took the place over and they did a remarkable job to update the place in and out - still ongoing. They landscaped the shoreline, installed barbecue grills, hammocks. As to the interior, they painted, tiled the place, new doors etc. The manager was always helpful and prompt in responding to any requests. I would not hesitate to move back in there again."

"I spent just over a year at Minnetonka Edgewater - the only reason I moved out was because my fiancé and I bought a house. I have nothing but GOOD things to say about this apartment complex, the landlord, and the maintenance man. The complex came under new ownership about 3 years ago and the new owner has made several improvements to the property, updating not only the 24/7 fitness room but also the lobby/gathering space in the entry and new quiet-close garage doors. They are also in the process of renovating and updating the apartments. I had a spectacular view of the lake with access to three outdoor grills, a beach area, and a boat slip if I wanted. The owner was always available via email, text, or phone when I had an issue (which was rare). The maintenance man was available at all hours as well, even during the weekends. Both made it a point to get to know me personally and would always greet me by name if I passed them in the hallways. It definitely had a more "community" feel than other apartment complexes I have lived in. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex to anyone!!"

"I enjoyed living in this apartment. It has been under new ownership for a few years. They are updating all of the units and community areas. The best feature is the outdoor area which has grills a private beach and a dock. I opted to purchase a dock slip during my time in the apartment. It was pretty affordable and a ton of fun."
