Arlington E-Z Rest Motel 509 2nd Avenue Northwest, Arlington, MN 55307

"UPDATE: BED BUGS - we left the motel 8 days ago and were there 3 nights. We were itching while there but didn't see anything. The exterminator said the normal infestation time is 10 to 14 days. This inexpensive motel is now costing $400 for the 1st treatment of bed bugs, and we need 3 treatments. I'm ok with older motels as long as they are clean. I asked when checking in if it was clean and was told it is "very clean". The heater/air conditioner was so dirty I didn't want to touch it. I was afraid to walk barefoot on the carpet. And the smell was so bad we had to burn candles when we were in the room. We were visiting family in the area and we have 2 cats, so this was our only choice. Even our cats hid the whole time. Guy was extremely nice and helpful on the phone, as was Rachel checking in. But after that no one was in the office. Luckily we had TP with us, as we ran out of TP in the room the last day, and no spare in the room. We will never stay here again and do not recommend it."

"It was a really nice room, had a shower and the essentials. There’s a gas station and bowling alley right across the street. Across highway 5 there’s a really good classy restaurant, highly recommend eating there if you stay here. It’s got a TV, fridge, and microwave. Room was nice and clean when I walked in and smelled fresh. It was quiet and calming the entire duration of my stay."

"Motel is under new management, we have updated the rooms, and have new pricing. Management lives on site. Quiet and clean. Would recommend if you are needing a place to stay for a night."

"Motel has great prices. Owner is very nice. Rooms are comfy but could use some updating. Shower head sprayed every where but where you need it to. Cable sucks just basic, a lot of church channels. It's quiet, gas station across street, laundry across the street. They put in a new Tavern on the corner across the street. To bad hotel wasn't across the street then you wouldn't have to cross the street. Lol Arlington is a nice town to be a part of."
