"nicely updated. in other words it's an older hotel. maybe it was a comfort suites? the bike trail behind is really nice. the pool good for kids, but that means it's really loud and the hot tub was full of kids when we went in. i would have given a higher rating except i really didn't appreciate the hidden $12 "hotel fee". my $151 quoted room turned out to be $184. also, no vanity in the bathroom? meaning, no place to put your toiletries. lastly, why are the towels across the bathroom from the tub / shower? i really don't get it, with no vanity are you supposed to get out wet and soak the floor? it's a nice place, but really Clubhouse, finish the job and get rid of your "junk fees" please. next time i am in town, i will have to try the hilton (for less money)"

"I LOVED this place! It had a decent pool, and the rooms were clean, it also was a comfy and relaxing place to stay. The only thing that annoyed me was the people in the hallways being annoying and loud. But other than that this was an amazing place! Really recommend!"

"Nice hotel in a great location. Close to the mall and restaurants, but surprisingly private and nice grounds set further back from the main road. The breakfast was very good and staff were very friendly and helpful. The only drawback was normal hotel room noises. There was a birthday party the weekend we stayed, and we could hear people talking pretty clearly up and down the hall. We could also hear when the guests upstairs turned the faucets on. It didn't bother us much, but if you're sensitive to noise, you may want to request a room away from the pool and/or put a blanket under the door to help muffle sound. The pool here seems pretty popular and kid oriented. No after hours noise issues. I loved that the hotel and room didn't smell like deodorizer or strong detergent fragrance, and you can open the windows. The detergent they use is very lightly scented, but this is still a good choice for someone sensitive to fragrance or has MCS or MCAS issues. I'm pretty sensitive and bring my own blankets when I travel and had no issues. This will definitely be where we stay on any other trips to Sioux Falls."

"The hotel was beautiful. Very clean rooms. Our biggest complaint and concern is the pool area. The tile is not normal pool type tile. It's residential kitchen type tile. It's INCREDIBLY slippery. We were in the pool area for 3 hours and we saw over 12 kids slip and fall, some of them hitting their heads on the tile. It is a serious accident waiting to happen. We ended up having to put tons of towels down to form a path for the kids to walk on."

"Had a birthday party at the Clubhouse. Pool was great. Breakfast was great. Service was great. We left a volleyball in the room and they were nice enough to call so we could pick it up. Highly recommend!"
