"I worked there went in every shift I was scheduled did my job and made place look nice for the past 2 Christmas holidays even filled in till they could get a new overnight staff I ended up moving to willmar and asked for a raise and I got a .75 cent raise on top of that they were hiring people and paying them 2 dollars more then me and messed stuff up hired from her staying at the hotel with her boyfriend and she was making $14 an hour start I was making $11.50 when I left making $12.25 wasn't worth my gas the owners and cheri are Jews"

"Country Inn rooms are clean, I would recommend requesting a room on the back side as the noise from the bar will wake you up at night if you're on the front side. Also, go to The Whistle Stop for breakfast - the options here get worse and worse every time, unfortunately. (And the dining room was filthy this weekend; the 2 people sitting at the front desk were more worried about talking to each other than getting a broom or dish cloth to clean - even after pointing it out, no one did anything.) However, they did let us use the breakfast room at night for a family gathering location during our time together for a funeral, so I thank the hotel for allowing us to use the room!"

"I know hotel WiFi is never great but this is without a doubt the worst hotel WiFi ever. The only reason positive people was actually a pretty comfy bed and a nice shower but not worth it. Otherwise do yourself a a favor and ignore all the other good reviews because they can’t honestly be that good and find a better hotel"

"Gross carpet, vial on floor, latch broken to lock door. Smelled terribly musty. I asked for a room with a cleaner carpet and they said they were all like that. They said they asked for a carpet shampooer but never got one. The key card sleeve from previous occupant was still on the dresser. No elevator had to carry suitcase up a flight of stairs."

"My wife and I stayed here and actually had some problems. We got there a little before 6pm, checked in, went to our room and it wasn't cleaned. It was actually a mess and smelled of the previous guests leftover food. We had to wait until 730 to get into our room so it could be properly cleaned. Frustrating? Yes. The reason I am giving this a 5 star review is because of the way it was handled when contacting the GM of this location. She was more than understanding and gave us a full refund for the night. Which is the way these situations should be handled. Props to you!"
