"Our family loves Oak Park! We've rented practically the entire place for one week out of the year for 20 years! The beach is nice and well kempt and the large grass area is great for a pick up soccer game or playing badminton. The owners, Jim and Teresa, are super nice and really take care of their property. If you can get in, I would recommend doing so. The cabins are what I would call "Minnesota rustic", but are well cared for. 2023 update: our cabins got some upgrades (new, BIG porch, new bathroom, kitchen, & carpet) and we love ‘em!"

"Theresa and Jim are the owners and are present every day. They maintain the resort impeccably and are gracious and wonderful hosts. Their beach is spotless and they have all the toys anyone one would want to use on a lake. Oak Park Resort is on pristine Clitheral Lake. It is a sizable lake and we visited for years and the boat traffic is almost non-existent . . . This place is a real gem and let's keep it a secret!"

"If you can find a week to get in here you will not be disapointed. Modest and humble the settings are everything our family looks for. Wide open play area, and indoor lodge, and huge sandy beach with clear water. We have been coming here for 20 years and obviously have enjoyed ourselves."
