"If you want to know what is going on with your loved one this is not the place to have surgery. They do not allow you to go back before or after surgery but rather you are keep in the waiting room. Waited over three hours before they even let me know anything. Our loved ones are our whole world and they need to realize this. A simple text of event updates (In pre opt, nerve block complete, back to surgery now, moving to recovery room) while we wait and wait would be much appreciated."
"My Mom had surgery here today, and she said everyone was great to her. Nurses and staff were very kind and accommodated her in every way. The anesthesiologist was very kind & explained things very well to her. She said she was cold and they covered her with heated warm blankets. Dr. Henley did her carpal tunnel surgery. He was late to start the procedure. She said he doesn't seem like a friendly surgeon. But he is good. He is very direct and to the point during visits. I guess time will tell if surgery was successful. She said she would recommend this surgery clinic."
"Surgery with Dr. Pleimann everything went great super happy! To the front desk and back everyone super nice very professional! They took good care of me and everyone is super nice 100% clean facility too!"
"My grandson was scheduled for surgery Monday, 10/31, with Dr Dean Bright. Today he is refusing to reschedule my grandson's (with Autism) surgery!!!! My grandson didn't understand why he had to get up super early, and wait 2 hours in a room he'd never been to, and didn't have anything to eat! After an hour of waiting, this tall, strong developmentally-challenged 16 yr old couldn't take it anymore and expressed himself vocally and physically, forcing his parents to get him out of there. Mr Bright has refused to reschedule the surgery!!! Please show respect for the mentally disabled and refuse to use this doctor!!!!"
"Dr. Dean E. Bright performs surgery at this hospital and he discriminates against people with special needs. My nephew is in need of surgery and he was referred here to this doctor. My nephew is 16 and he is autistic and nonverbal. When the office told his parents they would have to have him at SurgCenter of Fayetteville, LLC at 5:30AM, 2 hours before his surgery, they expressed their concerns about such a long wait and especially without any food or drink. You see, he wouldn't understand why he wouldn't be able to eat or drink or why he'd be stuck in a strange, small room for so long. They asked for other options, any options to help with this. They didn't offer any so they said they would give it a try and do their best. He made it 1 hour before the predicted melt down happened and they had to take him home. When they called back to reschedule, the receptionist told them the doctor had left instructions to refuse to reschedule them and that they needed to try Children's Hospital. Excuse me?! He is going to be 18 years old in 18 months and then he won't be able to go to Children's. What is he supposed to do then? He'll just be out of luck for any upcoming healthcare needs requiring surgery? From what I understand, the receptionist at Bright Foot clinic was professional and apologetic and in my opinion, this should not have been put on her. If a doctor decides to refuse to provide care to a patient due to his own prejudice, he should have the decency to do it himself at the very least. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, especially if you have a family member with special needs or if you feel special needs people deserve the same health care as everyone else."
