"Usually I have no issues with my children getting seen here, except the occcasion rude nurse. Yesterday, however my daughter was scheduled to have a required checkup in order for her to get an important surgery next week. We show up at 10:45 to be seen for our 11 appointment, only to be told by the front desk girl (same girl who made my appointment on the phone) "oh, looks like your appointment never got made. Huh.". Acting like it's no big deal that i had to drive 45 minutes and planned my whole day around an appointment that didn't get made. So I wind up having to wait till 2, until I was cutting it close to getting my other daughter off the bus to be seen. It was a very hard week ahead of this happening and it was embarrasing having to cry in front of people from being so overwhelmed and fed up with it. Totally uncalled for and unprofessional. They should have seen me at 11 or squeezed me in sooner but they didnt even try. They still drug their feet about seeing us, even after i had to wait that long. . The referral lady, Cindy, was the only one nice to me and helpful. I appreciate her. I've had problems with rude nurses(one in particular) up there before but this was totally uncalled for. I know it's a learning hospital, but they still have learning to do. Treat people like they matter. If you mess up, make it right and apologize. I never got an apology from the desk girl. Do better."
"One of the referrals I was given when signed out of Washington Regional ER while sick and uncared for was this deserted waste of space. I did labs again. So their pencil pushers can bill for that. Spoke with an intern. She offered NOTHING. Provided no services. And she wants me to return in a month to talk to some other random student. For what? Another copay for providing me no care what so ever. I can get the same conversation at any random bus stop - FREE."
"Love this place! Great doctors and health education!"
"Everytime I call it rings over and over then the call ends. My son has hives all over his body. I'm going to be looking for a new doctor, this is the worst experience I've had with any doctor's office. This is urgent and my son needs a dang prescription for formula threw wic."
"First of all, they practically saved my nine yr olds life 3 1/2 yrs ago by the doctors being thoroughly involved and aware, his asthma and allergies are manageable now, thanks to them and his allergist. Took my son Daymien here today because he was really sick, gastroenteritis was the diagnosis. He saw Dr LaShundra Watson and she was PHENOMENAL!! I have been taking both my sons here for a few years or so and their doctors have been great but today, Dr Watson made us feel like family and took extra time to explain everything in depth and in terms we would understand. She was AMAZING! Thank you Dr Watson, you are the best!! I feel very good in my decision to bring my boys here, they are in great hands!"
