"We have been coming to Cibola Vista for 10 years. The location is beautiful and a great place to go to Lake Pleasant and other recreational areas. The exterior is well maintained with desert landscapes The 2 bedroom unit is spacious with a king bedroom and 2 full beds in the other bedroom. Unfortunately the cleanliness was a disaster and maintenance was lacking. We checked in at 6pm so we did not have an early checkin so there was plenty of time for them to turn over the unit. There is lack of management and oversite of cleaning, maintenance and security. The kitchen had not been cleaned as the counters had crumbs and leftover food all over. The chairs also had food on them still. The floor also had food debris and garbage. We washed all the counters and the cleaning crew came to actually clean and mop the kitchen floor and the chairs. Unfortunately it was the next morning when we discovered the bathrooms were in dire need of a good cleaning. On our shower the first morning the bath floor rugs were soiled with brown dirt on the floor facing side. The grout was brown even though it should have been off white - evidence of lack of real cleaning over a long period of time. And the shower tiles had mold on the grout as well. One shower had 2 conditioner bottles instead of 1 shampoo and 1 conditioner bottle mounted on the wall. The second shower had an empty shower gel bottle mounted to the wall. The dishwasher did not have a functioning soap dispenser and the inside was full of rot. It was disgusting. We had to fix the door open and run a sanitizing wash first the rewash everything. As to security, the screen doors were not locked and one screen door’s lock was broken. It is unfortunate but I can no longer recommend this resort. The pictures show where I rubbed the dirt off the grout and the mold on the shower tiles."
"Though the resort was fairly new and beautiful, I resort to giving it a 2 star review. We requested a handicapped room. We received a room that was on the 4th floor and the elevator was sketchy. The shower was not accessible for my husband who uses a wheelchair. The light for the bedroom were in sync with the remote in our neighbors room next to us so the lights kept coming on in the middle of the night. The location was good. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. We needed the room for an additional night and they would not release the room unless when went to their timeshare presentation originally informed of us it would take a hour and a half which in reality it took 3 hours. When describing that our visit was not a leisurely one but to take care of business and we were on a time schedule. It fell on deaf ears"
"This is one of Bluegreen’s most beautiful resorts. The resort is surrounded by beautiful mountains. The entire grounds are beautifully landscaped, well maintained, well designed and offer the eye an array of colors and textures of vegetation. The Hardscape blends naturally with the desert and mountain backgrounds connecting the buildings nicely with the natural surroundings. The rooms were well appointed. The ceiling beams made us feel like we were in middle Mexico. The interior design melded well with the exterior. The kitchen was large enough to prepare large evening meals. The pool was so large. The slides offered plenty of fun for all, even my husband enjoyed the slides. We had so much fun at the main pool, we never made it to the adult pool. We did try out the hammocks. Those were relaxing and fun. The shaded walking paths allowed us to get some exercise and to take in the grounds beauty. We didn’t get a chance to play pickle ball on the courts or participate in the many scheduled activities. We chose to travel to Sedona and to the Grand Canyon North and South Rim while in the area. We highly recommend this amazing resort and the Phoenix area. From Peoria to Phoenix we were pleasantly surprised with the roads, traffic flow, hard scape and landscape designs along the way."
"We stay here every year this time of year because it’s typically sunny and warm enough to lay out by the pool and relax in the hot tub as it cools down just enough at night. Although very kid friendly with lots of activities, there’s also a 21+ pool and bar with happy hour! We enjoyed Pilates and yoga classes and pickle ball as well and there are close by trails and parks. Overall great resort and enjoyable vacation spot!"
"Very nice facilities and plenty of room in our adjoining suites. Unfortunately, one of the showers did not have any hot water so we all shared one shower. The wifi (if you can call it that) was practically nonexistent and only worked well the first night we were there. They give a complimentary bag of popcorn but it was stale. Other than that, very comfortable beds, washer/dryer, kitchen, and a very nice pool!"
