"I recommend you do not use this business. I had taken a expensive blanket in for dry cleaning. It was returned to me with dozens of pulled threads. This ruined the look of the blanket. I’m not sure if it damaged the long term integrity of it. Very disappointed."

"I read some of these reviews before choosing Tanque Verde Cleaners, but I like to give small local places an honest try, especially when they are so close to my house. I was WRONG. Do NOT go here!! The story: 1/4/2021: I dropped off several dress shirts here for a simple “clean and press.” I wear these shirts to work at my desk job only, so usually wear 3-4 times before a cleaning. I had been here a few times before and had no prior issues. 1/6/2021: I picked up the shirts and the next morning I discovered that the deodorant that builds up under the armpits was still there! (These shirts have no permanent discoloration, simply caked-on deodorant). It seemed like the shirts were not laundered at all. I was able to still remove the caked-on deodorant with the top of my fingernail. These shirts clearly hadn’t been washed. 1/8/2021: I brought all the shirts back and showed the woman who owns the store and she told me there is nothing she can do. I asked if I wash three of them in my home washing machine and the deodorant DID come out if I could have my money back and she said “yes.” What a surprise, it came out! 1/12/2021: I returned to the store to show her my findings and request my money back. She refused because “we don’t guarantee removal of any stain,” but could not explain why my 20-year-old washing machine at home is able to remove the deodorant, but her high-end industrial washer is unable to. I calmly requested that she give me my money back several times before she offered to re-wash them again. I agreed, and she took the shirts and in a fit of frustration she threw them all onto the ground right behind the second counter they have in their store. I didn’t appreciate how my property was treated and didn’t feel comfortable leaving her with all my shirts AND without a refund yet, so I asked politely for a refund until I picked the shirts up again. She declined. I decided to take my shirts and leave. I really liked this place, but poor customer service and respect will cause me to drive 5 minutes down the road from now on. Please heed my warning. DO NOT GO HERE. See photos for examples of 2 shirts that I was able to scrape the deodorant off with my fingernail after they were “cleaned.”"

"Brought a suit jacket in to be cleaned and an evening gown to be hemmed. They called and said the hemming would cost 59.99 so I told them not to do it (another shop told me they would do it for 35). When I picked up my clothing the evening gown was crumpled into a ball next to the entry door on a table. It had pins sticking in it. When I gave the lady my tickets she returned only with the jacket. She said she didn't have the dress. So I pointed to the sequin encrusted crumpled ball by the door and went to fetch it. It had the other half of the ticket on it with my name and phone number. She snatched the ticket from my hand saying it was hers when I brought the dress to the desk. The jacket was cleaned and in good condition. 9.99 was the charge. I would AVOID purely for the way they treated the new evening gown and lack of organization."
