"This place is a disaster. I booked my dog several weeks out for a new pet exam with the ultimate goal of having my dog’s dental cleaning done here. They called me the day before my appointment to change the time which I accepted the new time and while I was speaking with the woman, I mentioned my plan to set up a second appointment for his teeth cleaning. She said “oh, well we can actually do clean his teeth while he’s here tomorrow”, I was happy and accepted that, she said to remind them the next morning when dropping off my dog that he was to have his teeth cleaned as well. Next morning rolls around and they say there is absolutely no way of him getting his teeth cleaned at all and that the woman should never have told me it could be done and I’ll need to reschedule for his teeth. Then when I checked out they said my receipt would be emailed, it wasn’t. I called three times today (4 days after the appt) and was told each time that the email was being sent, I verified repeatedly that they had the correct email and it wasn’t until the third call when I told them I’d be waiting on hold until the email comes through did I finally get it. All for me to turn around to try to create a Banfield account online to schedule his dental cleaning at another location, and the info from the invoice doesn’t work so I call the hotline. I’m staring at my invoice giving the lady my client ID, phone number, and name exactly as it’s printed on my invoice and she’s telling me I must not be giving her the correct info and asking if I’ve actually been to a Banfield location before. Also that I’ll need to call the location back because she can’t help me. One thing after another, a total dumpster fire at every turn with this place."

"Do NOT get a wellness plan through here. If you try to cancel it after your dog has passed they will force you to pay YOUR ENTIRE REMAINING MEMBERSHIP FEES for a DEAD DOG. This is disgusting."

Our vet of 10 yrs retired and we struggled to find a regular vet office we could count on for honesty, professionalism, and compassion. I could not have been happier with our experience. Thank you to everyone at this Banfield for the help we got. These people truly care about doing their best for your pet and it shows."

"Horrible service. I have taken my dogs to Banfield for years. It's impossible to get an appointment on the weekends lately. One of my dogs had a very concerning oozing lump on his side that was growing rapidly and was about the size of a small bouncy ball. We had to wait 2 weeks to be seen. They scheduled for a drop off appointment and called minutes after dropping him off because they couldn't get him into a kennel. Admittedly, he has been difficult due to this lump, but we never had an issue before. We rescheduled for the following weekend and we're told that we should have given him medicine to sedate him prior to bringing him in, yet it was never mentioned and no medicine was provided. They refused to even look at his lump, couldn't get a needle in him to sedate him and made us reschedule yet again for another week out. I ended up having to take him to emergency at 1st Pet because he had an allergic reaction, and the lump had grown to the size of a soft ball. Found out the allergic reaction could be due to the lump, they removed the lump a few days later and we found out it was a Mast Cell tumor. Which is very cancerous. We could have saved precious time with our baby, his surgery may not have been so invasive if Banfield had just done thier jobs! 1st Pet was amazing and so calming for him. They did everything on his terms and for now he's as happy as can be and acts like nothing ever happened!"
