Coach Dan does a great job teaching his classes in groups and manages to pay attention to his students individually as well. "I just started at Dan's Gym doing Muay Thai and it has been great! The staff is very nice and the environment is great for new comers. I have never done a striking class before so I was very nervous going in, but no one made me feel dumb or like a newbie. It was extremely welcoming and easy going. I recommend Dan's Gym to anyone looking to get started in a gym doing boxing or muay thai. I also think Dan's Gym is great place for children! There are a ton of children who attend class and seeing them in there working and learning discipline is awesome! Five star gym for sure!"
"I joined Dan’s Gym not too long ago after I started getting bored lifting weights and running at the gym. I have always wanted to learn how to defend myself while also getting into shape. I checked into 4 other Muay Thai gyms around Mesa before giving Dan’s Gym a shot. So happy I waited! The gym is full of very kind and respectful people from beginners to pros. I even signed up my 9 year old son who didn’t want to do baseball this season. Dan is an awesome coach and a highly decorated fighter. His understanding and patience while teaching the beginners class was very refreshing and my intimidation and hesitation about Muay Thai as a new hobby quickly subsided. It immediately became fun and I now go as much as I can."
