"Spoke to Brian today. I brought in a set of odd sized modular rims and they were actually able to switch out the tires for new ones. Every other place couldn’t do it but they rose to the challenge and got it done fast and efficient. Great place double high fives and 2 thumbs up for service and awesomeness"
"The best bike shop I've been to ever. Nice bikes, just a little out of my price range, so I left. I text the guy bk from the bus stop. I didn't have it, he let me slide. I walked away with the best bike in there. Used one, but the new ones are still reasonable for the quality. I couldn't have been there 5 mins, 3 people took care of their business. Quality, in product and bike repair and maintenance is 2nd to none. I attest and reiterate. And The Nile Coffee Shop downtown Mesa has free refills."
"Inexpensive and knowledgeable, they took me right off the street. The problem wasn't resolved 100%, but that wasn't totally their fault. My commuter has cheap forks which were part of the reason my front disc brake 'bucks' when I apply it. They lessened the uneven pull of the brake and it doesn't make contact with the pads anymore while riding. They threw in a free back blinking red LED light for the price($16), as well, so I'm satisfied. I will go back there. They have all the accessories I need for my new E-bike!"
"This is the best bicycle shop around. It’s very easy to access on the corner of Higley and Williams Field. They have plenty of parking. They always have a good variety of bicycles and they let you test drive them in the parking lot. I went there today because I had a flat tire. The owner seems to always be there which is nice. He worked on my bike immediately. He was able to change out my bent fork on the front of my bike and replace both my tires and got me a new tube while I was waiting. His other employee was busy working and helping customers also. Even though many people come and go, they are so friendly to all their customers. I love looking around this small shop because it’s full of really cool stuff. I always have basket envy when I leave this place. My really cool Sideview mirror, bell and cupholder are from here. They have a huge variety of inventory. There are so many bike accessories. He has bikes for most price points. I love my Electra cruiser. They sell a Large variety of Electras, and they have all of the cool baskets and bells and cupholders that I love. I really enjoyed looking at their electric bikes. They have one of many types so you can compare. They aren’t in my price point, but I definitely had fun looking at them. I love that they keep track of when you come in and what services you’ve had. It’s very helpful. They are a very respectful business. We make multiple trips a year to the shop and they always send us out with our bikes in perfect working order."
"A few weeks ago when I was at the Freeride Bike Company I saw a bike brought in and needed a lot of love. It was just your normal sidewalk bike was need of some love. The owner looked over everything and said, the repairs and swapping out of everything will be more than a new bike. Would you like to look at a new bike instead? They said yes and I thought about that, the bike shop could have charged parts and labor and made profit but they decided to ask the customer it might be better if you look at this new bike. I was there for new tires and tubes as the Arizona sun was tough on my bike during the summer. Small business if really hard when you have to run it against the world of walmart and other stores that don't give any customer service at all. The difference is Freeride wants to build a relationship should you need parts or support with your bike. My next purchase will be an E-bike and yes I know it's lazy but I'm 52 and my knees are not in the best shape. The shop sells the e-bikes too so I know I can get it serviced there too. Good Luck out there, J.V.N"
