"Have been a customer of this store for years, always had good customer service. Not so today Thursday 5/11. Went in around 9am to have my Hayward pool Vac rebuilt, as I have done may times in the past. One employee in the store and he was on the phone. When he hung up he grumbled to himself something to the effect of "we have a service dept why are you calling me"?. (thought to myself great customer service dude) When I asked if he could rebuild my Vac, he replied "not sure when I can get to it, you have three ahead of you. Grumbled something else about one customer's pool vac to the effect of "this guy here might as well buy a new one, we can't fix this. He then stated that if I needed or was looking for parts he couldn't help me as they had no parts on hand and did not know when they would. In other words "can't or don't want to help you, because I can't be bothered".......No apology or please let me see what I can do,.........NOTHING!! Terrible customer service and that is the last time you will see me in this store. Even though I live 5 minutes from here, I WILL go elsewhere!!!"

"I recently went in here to buy a part for my pool cleaner and was given the wrong part. When I went back up later to exchange this for the right part the same person that sold it to me refused to admit it was the wrong part even though I brought the correct one with me this time. It was obviously the wrong part but this egomaniac refused to exchange the part saying he'd been doing this for years and I was wrong, even after showing him the broken part!! When I got angry he kicked me out of the store! The next day I went to the Olive/51st Ave location ( where I usually go) and they swapped out the parts and even put my cleaner back together for me. Awesome customer service! Unfortunately nobody else at Leslie's cares about customer service because even after calling and filing a complaint four days ago I haven't heard back. It's time to start buying my supplies from someone else I guess..."
