"Very rigid and old school learning. My granddaughter is in first grade and hated school. She literally became a different person; she became withdrawn, frightened, unhappy. Switched her to GIA, which is more hands on, interactive and whole child-oriented. Warm environment--exact opposite of Legacy. After just one week, she is excited about learning again. Has an abundance of friends. Creative and light-hearted again. One of her new classmates at GIA went to Legacy last year. He had perfect grades in kindergarten and should have received a scholatic award but they refused to give it to him because of a few minor behavioral infractions! A kindergartener! Turns out, he's a gifted child. GIA is advancing him to 2nd grade. They chased away a gifted child!"
"I love this school for my child. They have amazing teachers that will work with your child and free tutoring if your child falls behind. They teach advanced curriculum and my child loves it here. They have morning and afternoon recess and include art, Spanish, music, gym, and computers in their program. I couldn't ask for a better school or teachers. The ladies in the office aren't always on point, that is my only complaint. They sometimes treat you like you are taking up their time, I would like that to change."
"So thankful for the educational opportunities provided to my children by Legacy. I have been pleased with their progress and their teachers year after year."
"My child had been sending since 5th grade. I was appalled by the treatment I received the last few months of attendance. I was banned for two games but they expected my child to continue to play. None of the district office administration returned my calls. They expect you to sit and be quiet while your child is being bullied and address it only after the game ends. Pish posh, it's a safety issue especially after the child has been hurt. Wow, Mrs. Vega and Mrs. Little, I recorded our conversation where you banned me. The recording is proof that you don't care about the parent or the child. You didn't even ask how she was doing. I sent the recording and video to the Board of Education for Charter School, maybe they will listen. SMH"
"1 year for our two youngest boys, 6 th & 2nd grade. A stronger cruculem than publix schools, and stronge than St Anthony's."
