"Just as the last review said. Babysitters. Not a preschool. I was curious why there hasnt been any recent reviews before admitting my child into the daycare.. now ill be sure they do not remove this one. Since my child has been enrolled she has caught multiple sicknesses. They dont tend to kids when they require attention (bullying, runny nose, bad behavior) my child was never willing to be dropped off and ive enrolled her into 2 daycares before this one and this is the only one shes not happy and willing to go to. She has had more bruises and bumps than any other daycare or babysitter that has cared for her. The teachers do not care about the wellbeing and how the children are being raised. Ive witnessed the inattentiveness when coming to pick her up. Teachers are actually rude and careless when no one is watching. Ive watched a teacher in care of way more kids than she could handle all on her own while the other assigned teacher(s) hangout in the office or show up late not even showing an ounce of kindness out of their heart to just go and help an obviously overwhelmed teacher. This center is only suitable for the wealthy americanized community that only cares about the looks of the place cause i got fooled too. I hope this center reevaluates how their teachers / staff tend to children. No matter what anyone says. Pay attention to your kids behavior. Theyre not being bad. Theyre unhappy there/imitating bad behavior."
"This place does not educate kids just a daycare where staff members watch the kids the whole day. No assigned permanent teacher in a classroom just whichever staff is available to watch the kids, staff rotates. Amount of kids to ratio per teacher in classroom are sometimes not followed. Some staff do grab kids and are not gentle with kids in handling certain situations or isolate kids if necessary. There are situations where parents should be aware of situations about their children but are not being told about. Staff need more training and experience in handling situations. Not a preschool."
"Our daughter was enrolled here for nearly two years. I have seen her grow so much here and it's quite hard to leave. She entered as a shy, quiet kid and it was apparent when my wife or I dropped her off that she was not a fan of being away from mom and dad. As time went on, she opened up more and more and despite her trouble speaking she really came into her own. She would hug her classmates and/or teachers every time she got picked up, and even on her last day when we told her she would not come back she simply replied "I really liked this school." My wife and I were extremely pleased with her teachers and the staff there. One memory sticks out more than the rest. A parent's worst nightmare: our daughter fell on the playground and busted open her chin. The director, Ashley, administered a butterfly bandage (this is what the nurse at the ER called it) and helped prevent further pain and scarring. When we went to pick up my daughter and take her to the ER, she was calm and quiet, playing with the adults in the front office, in spite of her injury. The staff here really cares about the well-being of your child, and do their best to support them however they can. We are forever grateful that we found this place and had our daughter attend here. Thank you Phoenix Children's Academy!"
"Absolutely amazing… my son started here last month and the staff do an amazing job at making sure he feels special as soon as he walks in the door. As a parent- the cleanliness and overall care they take in the place and the kids is honestly beyond reassuring. I told them when my son started that he could only get to “E” in the alphabet and he’s only been going just shy of 4 weeks and can sing the entire alphabet! We are now even at the point that my son is rushing us out the door to want us to get him to daycare sooner- we just adore this place!"
"Our almost 7 month old daughter has been going to Phoenix Children's Academy for a month. We absolutely love her teacher, director and the girls that are in the classroom working with our little one. They are all so responsive to requests, we get updates through an app with lots of pictures and videos. Although all staff have to wear masks , my daughter always has a big smile when she sees her teacher and is actually a little sad when i come pick her up. Haha I had been so nervous to have my daughter in daycare but this has been a great fit for us. I have peace of mind knowing she is in good hands while her dad and I are at work. Thank you so much Ashley and Ms Bergen! You all are wonderful!"
