"My teenager and I moved into FITG a few months ago, and so far I'm loving it. I love our apartment, it is nested away in a corner spot and very quiet. The kitchen leaves a lot to be desired, but in today's rental market, I'll take it. I like to grounds and the neighbors, maintenance personnel, etc. are really nice. I never see the office gals since moving in. If you want super clean, trimmed grounds, this is not the place for you. it is rather rustic, and there are a lot of cobwebs, leaves, stray cats, etc.. around. I mean, I like that, but some other folks would not. I hope this place stays the way it is for a long time. I'm sick of corporate rental properties constantly upping rent and being sold from under the residents, ultimately pushing the residents out and replacing them with people from California. This sucks for those of us who cannot purchase a home at this time due to interest rates and just the prices in general. We need long standing "mom and pop" rental properties. They promote community and stability and I really appreciate them!"

"Have lived here for 15 years, so that explains my give star rating. Rent is reasonable for this area of Phoenix, especially when you experience the quality of the apartments and grounds. Service is far better than what I've heard from friends living in other complexes. The fountains, greenery, and trees differ from most Phoenix locations...making it seem that you live in the woods. That may explain the large number of feral cats roaming about. They are cared for....but one downside for bird lovers: do Not put out a bird feeder outside your apartment."

"Lived here almost 2 years now. At first, I wasn't sure how it would be. Coming from a bigger house, with plenty of parking access, it was an adjustment. There can be a longish walk from parking access to your front door, which makes moving in and grocery shopping tricky. But after a few months, I adjusted to not shopping in bulk and smaller trips a few times a week, and not moving in anything I didn't need. Very charming lot/layout; you can walk around the grounds during summer and stay in mostly shade. Am happy here; so are my cats ( and the few strays and outdoor cats living around. It's not a nuisance; just noticible)"

"I have lived here 3 times and keep coming back! This time the apartments are remodeled with really pretty woodgrain floors, lighted bathroom mirror and upscale fixtures in bathroom and kitchen.. I LOVE IT HERE! OFFICE, maintenance and security are ALWAYS happy to help and very friendly!! I have a large private patio in beautiful wooded lush surroundings. I HIGHLY recommend Fountains in the Green!"

"We moved into this apartment complex two years ago and we love it. We picked this place for a couple of strategic reasons. The fact that it’s gated is amazing. Having the electric included is helpful, washer and dryer in the apartment so there is no extra cost for washing clothes at a laundromat, and a parking space even though it’s a little tight. The roadside parking is awesome if you can get a good spot otherwise you might have to park around the corner. But in the seven years and we’ve known people that lived here. There are very few issues with vehicles being damaged or broken into. So even if you aren’t parking behind a locked gate your car is fairly safe as long as you take the proper precautions as far as locking your car up and not leaving things in your car. We love the fact that there are so many trees that it’s almost always shaded which brings the temperature down slightly during the summer and it almost feels like you’re living in the woods. As with any apartments, sometimes you have noisy neighbors or upstairs neighbors that stump around like their bowling all day. Overall the neighbors are friendly and quiet. Front staff is amazing and works with you, security is friendly and tries to handle all complaints. We haven’t had to deal with maintenance very many times but the times we have they were awesome."
