"I wanted to take a moment to share my positive experience with Avana Cordoba Apartments, particularly in my interactions with Ryan. From the beginning of the leasing process, Ryan has been incredibly helpful and communicative. Despite the nature of business sometimes causing delays in communication, Ryan has consistently addressed my inquiries promptly and comprehensively. He patiently answered all my questions, ensuring I felt informed and comfortable throughout the process. I’m currently awaiting an email confirming the details of my updated apartment, but aside from that, everything has been great. The office staff, including Ryan, has been friendly and accommodating. I appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere they’ve created. I am genuinely looking forward to my move-in date and am confident that Avana Cordoba Apartments will provide a wonderful living experience."
"I am fully aware that they are short staffed and under a lot of stress during that time. However, in the end of October 2023, I put in several requests for maintenance in our unit. I ensured each request was detailed, updated and had photos as well. After not hearing back from anyone following the input of those requests, I decided to send an email to Greystar directly and to speak with someone at the leasing office. I had other concerns which were addressed however, my main concern was the behavior and the tone of the property manager. Upon my entry into the leasing office, the property manager exerted a loud and condescending tone, stating that we definitely needed to have a conversation regarding my email. I agreed with her and proceeded to sit down and she spoke to me again in that same tone asking if I read my addendum regarding my utilities. She repeatedly cut me off and made me feel very uncomfortable with coming to her regarding these issues. And after she did answer my questions regarding the surcharge of the utilities, she continued to cut me off and quickly responded to all of my request and concerns regarding maintenance. It seemed like she had an answer to everything without fully hearing me out. She then started to talk fast as if she was trying to get me out of her face rather than actually rectify the issues. She shared with me that they are understaffed but they would be getting another maintenance worker in the coming days. She said that she would have the main maintenance worker come and address all of my issues that very day. He never came. And our concerns are things that are urgent and that can be dealt with in a reasonable time. It is now going on three months and these things are still not fixed. I also received several emails a month later stating that my request has been completed. And every single time I go to re-add a request for different issues, the next day it says that it has been completed when these issues have obviously not been dealt with. This happened the day that my roommate saw a roach and put in a service request for the exterminator to come and spray the next Wednesday. We received an email stating our service request has been completed but no other details stating when the exterminator was coming and what would happen next. My roommate had to call the leasing office (which they did not answer), and was transferred to a agent working at another property who assisted her but stated that it was an error made by one of the leasing agents. My requests are the following: - outlet in bathroom not working (the property manager suggested I flip the breaker, which I already did. It still is not producing a charge) - Giant palm sized hole under cabinet that needs to be filled and addressed (the property manager said it was not a rodent, it was instead missing a piece of the cabinet an it needed to be filled) -Broken toilet seat - NO SCREENS on the master bedroom window and the sliding patio door (the property manager said this would be an easy fix and should be done within 3 or so days of our conversation) - Broken knob on cabinet in Kitchen - Sliding door not sliding all the way - Incorrect wiring of fan and lights in master bedroom, and living room - front door light does not turn on (the property manager said she needed to order a fixture which could take some time, however this makes me feel unsafe to walk to my door in the dark) -ROACHES being seen coming from the stove even after its been sprayed. ( I put in another request for this to be addressed) The property manager was very aware of all of these concerns and had an answer for every single thing that I brought to her attention. However there was no follow through with actually getting things fixed and completed. We are now entering month three of these issues not being addressed. I am deeply disappointed in the service that I have received from Avana Cordoba."
"Teshawna and Ryan in the front office are amazing! You can definitely feel their positive great vibes walking into the office. They are always willing to go above and beyond when it comes to needing assistance and they ensure the tenants needs are met, which is finally nice to have! Carrie Fast is an amazing office Manager and it's been a pleasure to have her as manager. Amazing office team!!"
"This is the laundry room that’s available to the apartment complex residents. My dryer has been out for a week and I was going to utilize the laundry room in the complex, but I am now having to drive else where to dry my clothes because the laundry room is filled with filth. There was bugs flying and crawling everywhere along with trash that looks likes it’s been sitting for months. The lent traps appear to have not been cleaned, ever."
