"0 - Stars. So, ... long winded explanation cut down to the basics. Never rented here. Had a situation with rude office staff, wrong information concerning the unit price and move in date at a complex when being shown a unit. Wasn't told the correct information until after we already filled out the paperwork and were sent to retrieve the money orders .Contacted the heers company to file a complaint after management Christy couldn't assist the situation. Was told by corporate I was going to be contacted back with further information. Called a few times to follow up. Was told the complaint doesn't exist while representative Tony laughed on the phone. Asked to file a complaint for poor customer service and was told by Tony that she is the highest level I will ever reach. I can't do anything further. This is unbelievable."
"I moved to this place at the end of July 2017 because of the convenience of the location. If you're looking for a three bedroom there is no model. You have to go to Parkwood or Avante to view and believe me...the "upgraded" unit i have is vaguely reminiscent of the model.The complex is relatively quiet and safe because Phoenix PD patrols the place; another selling feature for me. Now, here's the reason for the low rating. My apartment is an "upgraded" model thus costing more in rent. What came with this "upgraded" unit...which imo is a minuscule upgraded unit. "Hardwood" floor Chrome light fixture in kitchen which although attractive emits a LOT of heat. Nice ceiling fan/light in living room Curved shower curtain rods. Corroded water heater that leaked through my dining room and it took a while to fix. Their mistake was because when i called maintenance it wasn't handled as an emergency thus it really flooded beneath the floor planks.. Btw, this maintenance guy is no longer here. (I was given a small discount on rent for this). Now, i have a brand new water heater, yaay! :) Fridge with multiple DENTS on it. Counters with rust marks and a hole here and there. Cabinets throughout whose bottom edges were swollen at one time or another and instead of replacing them they just got painted over instead. Bland institution beige paint. Online bill pay who btw put in the wrong account number, admitted to it but this management company would NOT waive the late fees that were incurred. In fact, i wasn't even given notice that it hadn't been received! It was me who noticed the money hadn't come out of mt bank account abd had i not paid attention to this then who knows when the people up front would have given me any notice! There were several other things that are minor but if not listed on the move in sheet one will be charged for it. And the cleaners did a half rate job on cleaning the unit for move in. Then the MB toilet springs a leak and the floor gets wet and the flooring has to be changed. Then yet AGAIN the same toilet springs another leak! The maintenance guy takes off the toilet, and this emits sewage smell throughout the house, eww.. I ask to have it put back on and they do but it's still unusable. They ordered the part but either their parts dept sent the wrong one or the maintenance guy ordered the wrong one but this delays the repair even longer. It took about 5 days. I was told that i had until the third day of the month before it was late and here it is the third day and im told my rent is late. I ask could I get a discount because of the toilet issue and was told no. One more thing, a friend of mine lived in an apt this same management company used to have and someone through a rock through her daughter's bedroom window. The person knew the daughter and attached a menacing note to the rock. The management company wouldn't let my friend off the hook even though their security vouched for my friend saying he saw the rock thrower and gave chase. A police report was filed and still no reprieve. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE even though their properties are decent. P.s. i will say that the maintenance guys are very nice and the ladies in the office, although not by any means rude, they have a rather "cool" ( and im not meaning "thats cool"type cool) and cordial disposition."
"The cove apartment staff is very unprofessional. I waited a whole month to hear if I was approved or denied for leasing and I still didn’t get an answer. I went up there to see what was going on and the leasing agent that had my application tried to blame me for not getting my documents in on time. I had no knowledge that I needed documents until I called him. He should have communicated this info but didn’t. When I went to collect my admin fee, he got an attitude saying that didn’t submit the information and he basically didn’t care. O will never recommend anybody to move into these apartments."
"The Del Mar Terrace apts is lousy on their maintenance my friend lives there. She reported a few things to be repaired but the front office ladies either forget or maintenace is to lazy to repair. She lived there for over 5 years never late for rent payment or anything. She requested for nicer floors but nope maintenance always comes back there is nothing wrong with it. She had to repaint the place herself, also repairing a few things on her own. Also, there is a lot of people living upstairs up by her apt so at night they come out and day time no one does. They hide out knowing they are doing a lot of criminal activity. About 3 or so residence there sell drugs and bring stolen bikes up by there in the building areas. I told her to report it but nope when she does the apts people don't care at all. Even a lot of people have patio stuff hanging out when she was told their can't be any stuff outside her apt. A lot of smokers living in the complex to so no smokers policy up about getting a can or something to dispose of their cigarettes. The people just throw it anyplace it is a fire hazard for residents. Also some of their maintenance cruise around smoking weed by the walls or not even doing their job. They hide out because no one watches them. The manager doesn't review anything so no good rules ever posted for reminders. It is an okay place but lately too much people that don't live there stay in other residents places. No place to report it except find a new place. I hope some apts do have rules for people that are up to no good at all."
