Reviews
"I felt the nurse practitioner who saw me did not really listen to me, did not understand my symptoms, and was only interested in getting me to agree to a lot of unnecessary tests. I think this place is a colonoscopy mill."
"I rarely write reviews and wish I had positive things to say, but this was a negative experience from the beginning. Jennifer, who scheduled my appointment gave me wrong directions to the Oro Valley office. She kept repeating "It's across from Oro Valley Hospital" and no matter how I tried to clarify, she just repeated the same sentence. The location is almost a mile from OV Hospital. As a result, I arrived 25 minutes late though I left in time to be early. When I arrived, I asked to speak to the office manager. She's not on site so the person at the desk have me her number. A woman in the back room who overheard the converstion said, "almost everyone who comes in here complains of not being able to find us". This seems like an easy fix to me; just give better directions. I tried to call Julie, the office manager, but had been given the main number with no options available to reach Julie. I went back to the front desk and asked for her extention, but was told I would need to call HR. Why?? I called HR and left a voicemail, but no one ever returned my call. On the morning of the procedure, I waited 1.5 hours past my scheduled time. The waiting room had 30 or so people waiting and several had no place to sit. When I was finally called, I expressed that the wait was long. I heard patients in other rooms complaining too and I could tell by the responses that they are very used to hearing this complaint. After the procedure, the woman who was to finish up gave me less than a minute to wake up and get dressed. I was so groggy, I could barely sit up. She was awful. Never looked at me and clearly just wanted me out so the next person could come in. Never offered a sip of juice or anything to get blood sugar up a bit. They herd people in and out like cattle. My suggestion is that maybe they could schedule appointments a little further apart, but I'm sure it's all about the money. If you have a choice, do yourself a favor and choose another company."
"Avoid this place like the plague. The practice is virtually inaccessible with one phone number for EVERYTHING. And if you leave a message to be called back it won't happen about half the time. Can't talk to the doctors' offices either without going through the single number phone dungeon. Tried that too and the office never called back although the recording said they would call back in 72 hours. Hows that for responsive? It's been a week and a half and no call from the doctors office for this simple procedural question. I can't imagine what the colonoscopy cattle call is like on procedure day."
