"Horrible billing service. Billed a year later. Never experienced this level of incompetence in any medical group. They send you bills and when you call to pay they can’t find you, mix you up with other accounts unrelated to your own! Also they seem to be trying to squeeze out more money for services previously billed for less , labs, office visits."
"My daughter had been coming to the Ophthalmology group in SE Mesa for years, but since acquired by Phoenix Children's Medical Group things have been messed up. They changed the way they coded my medical care, because I had to go with a different doctor from our regular doctor because was booked out for months, since the transition. They had no way to contact us after the transition, so it was us to us to make new appointments and get whichever doctor was available. The new doctor coded my visit totally different from the past costing me hundreds of more dollars. I will not be returning to a specialist doctor for the care of a standard eye doctor, saving me hundreds of dollars. I made several calls to help rectify the situation and they told me it was up to the new doctor I was force to use."
"This practice is very misrepresented. I've questioned their billing for provider that saw my child for three minutes. They billed my insurance for labs yet my child did not receive any services for lab work. I've been questioning their billing for months yet no one returns my calls. I requested a supervisor and they informed me one will call within 24 hours and yet no one returned my call. Next thing I receive a letter from their collections office. I even requested financial assistance and in their website they pride themselves in offering this service yet they said they simply do not offer it. This is a scam, they double billed my insurance and when questioned about the bill they do not respond. Now I know how these doctors scammed my health insurance. Beware this is what's driving insurance rates up!"
