"CHECK YOUR BAGS IN if you’re traveling to LAX. It’s FREE I don’t recommend the 1st level (the handicap section) unless you desperately need it. Smells horrid ALL THE TIME Great people at this station. There’s a vending machine, a restroom and luggage carts inside"
"This station is a joke. The old Phoenix station should be recommissioned. Platform is so short that trains must make two separate stops - one for personnel and another for passengers. The building resembles a temporary FEMA shelter. Scarcely enough room to stand in, much less sit or rest in. Not even adequate for cargo or luggage service. Terrible to no customer service. Trains are never on time. Amtrak is an embarrassment compared to the train systems in other wealthy countries."
"It's pretty meh for an Amtrak station. Just a small small waiting room on a gravel lot with a small platform. In fact, the platform is so small that the train has to make multiple stops to work all the cars! That being said, this is your stop if you're trying to make it to the Phoenix area, and they actually do quite a good job at having a shuttle there and ready to take you up to the city, even if the train is extremely delayed. It's just a brief 10-minute walk from a decently sized shopping sector, so there are things to do while you wait for the train. Another major plus I can give this place is that the AC was fantastic inside the waiting room. 105 degrees outside and a cool 70 inside, which I can certainly appreciate."
"I think it's very nice. And for all the people that have to wait in there air condition cars sitting down listening to music awe. You poor puppies. Don't you know there wouldn't even be a Maricopa if it wasn't for the train. Don't you guys have a city council or a mayor."
"My first visit and the train has been delayed 3 hours. Restrooms are trashed and need stocked. Overall not very satisfied but the outward appearance is clean and presentable."
