"Great RV Park if you love trains! Actually you get quite used to the train overall it's a good park, very quiet except for the train... Great staff also!"
"There are (2 years later) unusable amenities, (restroom, laundry, common room, and an office) but nothing else to justify the price. The lack of amenities could be corrected, however it does not seem to be a priority. It's an old park with visible signs of aging. There are only a few trees Most are next to long-term residents. Dirt pads for parking, concrete spaces on the camp side (not to be parked on). When it rains several spaces have flooding issues, roads need repair. It is a quiet park with no overly loud neighbors, not many children, mostly older adults or working people. Many long-term residents. It is clean. Pets are picked up after and not allowed to be outside unless leashed and attended. People who live or stay are very nice. Never had a bad experience with neighbors. Office staff leave a bit to be desired. With very limited contact or availability (M-F 9am - 3pm) never on weekends. This has been an issue for years. If you need something, you must come to the office when it is open. READ the rules and terms. ******* The train is right there, so if you have an issue with the train horn DO NOT stay here. The horn DOES blow various times day and night. ******* The park is very close to spring training facilities in Peoria. It is centrally located to a good number of local activities and a short distance drive to many other Phoenix area activities. Delivery services (Uber, instacart, etc) find the location easily. Overall you're paying for dirt space to park. No frills. Nothing extra. It's a place to stop with water and electricity hookups. Nothing special or remarkable."
"If you want a clean place to park your camper for a trip this is a good place, if you're planning on exploring the area that is. My wife, 4year old, 3 month old, and I needed a place to stay so we could attend a relatives air force retirement party. We came from indy to attend but could not find a park that was reasonably priced, or not 50+. We were skeptical about this park because of the reviews. But saying the situation we went on a limb and stayed here. The new management is doing good things! It was a little noisy since it is close to a busy intersection and the train, but it's not bad. I would rate a 5 stars but it was a little weird when we arrived because they have to plug you into power. like you trust me to back in and stay at the park for a week, but not plug in my own power? So conclusion is its a pretty decent site for the price. Also they need to add a playground!"
"First, the positives - People in the office and park staff are really nice and professional, and they have all amenities at every site. Now the negatives - The spots have weird rebar (old construction) sticking out of the cement pad (which you can not park on) there are a few pipes sticking out of the dirt by the water spigot which is quite unsafe if you are hooking up after dark. There are also train tracks nearby, and they go by at around 1130p, 430a, and 730a. It is very, very noisy, so don't count on getting great sleep."
"We stayed her for 4 months, and upon backing into our site the older man backed us up, my husband told him the holes we were in were way to deep and that it was unacceptable he said the lady would be in the office Wednesday to go discuss the holes with her. Also he plugged our power cord in for us (which we have NEVER had anyone do) and we were told DO NOT UNPLUG this once I plug it in it stays until you leave. When Wednesday came we went to discuss with her about fixing the holes and it was said they were working on trying to find someone to fill the holes. She did call 1 time for a date but my husband (who has our truck) works M-Sat and works 10-12 hour days so they were not able to accommodate that. When we left we were told “they tried but could not find anyone to fill in the holes” which I have posted pictures below. In 100% honesty the holes should have been filled before they pulled ANYONE in that spot. If you get pulled into lot 6 please check to make sure holes have been fixed, because if they aren’t, they won’t be."
