El Con Shoe Repair

"Definitely not impressed. The soles had come loose on these shoes. When I dropped them off the said the repair was easy, no problem. The ticket said Glue Soles so I understand they were going to be glued. But when I picked them up they are a hot mess with glue visible around both shoes. I asked what happened why is the glue showing can that be fixed and they said that's just the way it goes. Seriously? I had to pay $20 for a job I could have done better with a tube of super glue. We won't be back. Very disappointed in the poor craftsmanship."

"Left a part of buckled doc martins. With one of the buckle straps chewed off by puppy. Was quoted 75. When I returned they had not been cleaned, polished and the strap was laughable. They replaced one buckle upside down, and were searching for another to finish the repair with, even know I had called to ask if the shows were done. I don't know what happened w this place... maybe it's time to retire."

"12-4-23 I took my purses in to have them make a leather loop to hold the straps together. They made the loops too tight. Had to take it back. Hope they get it right this time. They had a hard time finding my purses when I got pick them up the first time despite I had the ticket. They seem disorganized."

"I brought in a pair of boots to be dyed and they did an amazing job within a week. This is an old school place (couldn’t get through on the phone, have to pay by cash or check etc.) but I don’t mind forfeiting some modern conveniences when you get such quality work done at a good price."

"This person should not be repairing shoes. He is unprofessional he is unskilled, and he is woefully inept at his job. Do not take your shoes here. I took two pair of sandals to him, and he said he was going to replace the straps which were broken instead, he did a very poor job of mending the straps. I am very upset because he told me that they were going to replace the straps. He not only didn’t do what he said he was going to do. He did a really patchwork job that ultimately failed. Please do yourself a favor and don’t bring your sandals here. Maybe he’s better at shoes. But I doubt it."
