"I’ve seen the type of work that Becker restorations completed, and I’ve been impressed. My 65 Mustang Fastback custom had been painted in 2005. Recently it had developed a paint issue on the roof, where a bubble occurred when I took it to Flagstaff AZ. When I got back to the valley the bubble went down, but was still noticeable if the car was at a car show in the sun. I took the car to Don, and he determined that there must have been some kind of contaminant under the paint. He gave me a quote to sand down the spot, determine the issue, and repaint the roof all the way to the quarter extensions. I was told it should take less than 2 weeks to complete the repairs. I was a bit apprehensive if it would match, but Don said it would match, and it did when I got the car back. While working on the roof Don found a small crack forming where the roof and rear quarter panels come together and determined it was caused by the lead used to join the two sections together back when it was manufactured. Don was able to fix that for the same quote. When I got the car back I was very impressed at the quality of work done, Don always kept me informed about the progress, and he took pictures to document everything for me. The car was done in the time frame given and for the quoted price. If I need any more paint work done I’ll be sure to take the car to Becker Restorations. Peter L."

"I have worked with Don for the past year. During this year, I have seen amazing work completed by his team. This has included body, paint and mechanical work. He provides services from minor cosmetic repairs to full frame off restorations. He is meticulous in documenting what is done to each vehicle and keeps his clients up to date on all aspects of their project. "I subcontracted the majority of dons work besides final body and paint don and his staff are incapable of building or truly restoring a car in house he has to call in outside contractors for frame repair engine replacement etc his cost overruns are therefore past on to the customer when I arrived he had an Avanti in his shop that carried him for aprox four years to the tune of $400000+and was about 75% finished ironically because of this customers poor health and failing finances he walked away leaving the car to don sadly top dollar for such a car if finished is aprox $65000 I also had issues with dons ability not to recognize VIN fraud as described under the ARS laws for he took in a rare 72 454 numbers matching monticarlo yet the body was unrestorable so he found a 72 body in sierra vista he had the original VIN tag removed from the numbers matching car and brought that body down to sierra vista for scrap parts and returned with the repairable body intending to put the numbers VIN on it this is where we started having conflict since the customer already had an excess of$10000 in just the rolling chassis ironically replacement bodies of the same year are often used but the whole front firewall should have been removed from the original body to make it acceptably accurate and more so legal on the original this is around the don and parted in dealings but I texted him about my concerns for the customer on several occasions First and I explained t ARS laws that obviously he was in violation of and he had two choices go back to sierra vista cut out the original firewall and reinstall the correct VIN on to it and it om the replacement body or it must registered with the DMV with anew tittle and VIN tag I havnt had contact since other than with his employees but I know he didn't resolve it to be a true numbers matching car so either he told the customer the truth and arranged for a whole new VIN or the customer is in possession of a forgery that he invested well over $300000 in this cuts both ways because even if it was an accurate numbers matching restoration its a$65000 car at best at auction and if it was registered your looking at$20000 Also give don a call and ask him how many of the cars pictured in his extensive advise section did he restore the answer is nono"
