"I brought my beautiful, black, almost new truck to Bill for a second opinion, after I had it coated with Opticoat Pro Plus ceramic coating by another company in the valley, which they completely botched. While I didn’t know much about ceramic coating at the time, I knew something didn’t look right, though the other company’s technicians had completed and signed off on the post-coating inspection. Turns out they did little to no paint prep on the black paint before coating, and coated the dust and imperfections right into the permanent ceramic coating on my paint. They insisted it was fine to coat my truck in my dusty gravel driveway, which is almost laughable now after visiting Crystal Clear Detail’s shop and seeing their spotlights and detail/polishing set up. Bill (the owner) was helpful, patient, and extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to carefully examine the truck, explain every step and concern, and answer all my questions. He confirmed that my truck was covered in a significant number of high spots, with areas having not been coated at all. He did this for free, and encouraged me to work with the original company to get it fixed under their warranty, to save me additional costs. However, after getting pushback and attitude from the first company’s owner, who insisted the original technicians come out to fix it (the ones who did a poor job in the first place, and did not seem knowledgeable at all about Opticoat), I returned to Crystal Clear Detail and agreed to pay whatever cost necessary to correct the botch job and recoat the truck correctly. Bill and his team took the time to fix and recoat the truck, and included coating on the windshield, tires, and interior. He did an unbelievably fantastic job, and my truck came out more beautiful than I had thought possible. He was able to fix the majority of the previous mistakes, though some were pretty much unfixable, such as the Opticoat that is permanently staining my door jams (which should have never been coated in the first place). Bill stands out in this business not only because he is extremely knowledgeable about auto detailing and Opti-coat installation/maintenance, but because he cares about the outcome of every vehicle he works on, and notices details and flaws that most people do not. After seeing how the paint and body turned out, I upgraded to ​Bill’s​ ​black-out package (tinted windows, headlights, and tail lights, blacked out all chrome and tailpipe) with painted blue brake calipers. My black truck (my baby; and first new vehicle I have ever owned) is back to looking amazing, and I have never been happier. If you want stand out work, I recommend you only take your vehicle to Bill at Crystal Clear Detail."
