"I bought a microwave from Restore in Tempe on November 24, 2023. I paid handyman $80 to install over stove. Imagine my disappointment when two of the numbers don't work, the downlight does not work, the clock does not work AND the Power Level button does not work. Being a first time buyer at Restore, I asked the sales clerk if they checked them and he reassured me that they thoroughly check them out. I called the store, stopped in, and wrote a letter. Nothing happened. I love the mission of Restore; just not the product or follow-up from the microwave that I purchased. When people come to my house and see my defective microwave (I have covered the numbers that don't work so I don't press them), I tell them about my experience and where I bought this defective microwave. I cannot buy another one and pay another handyman to remove the defective one and replace with another one. Not a good experience."
"Silly expensive. I can’t justify supporting this organization anymore and wonder how they price appliances with a straight face. It’s insulting to their customer base. You can buy brand new appliances in the same price range as these clearly used ones. There are still Habitat for Humanity stores elsewhere with level heads. Just not in the Phoenix area that I can find."
"The staff was VERY helpful, very knowledgeable and were all very nice. The store itself was VERY clean and well organized. It was definitely easy to find anything you may be looking for. When we finished our purchase, the staff even offered to help load the larger items into our vehicle. I'll definitely make the drive out to this particular ReStore again. It may not have the absolute cheapest prices ever, but I'll pay the slightly higher prices since the ReStore is part of the Habitat for Humanity charity anyway. We bought a table specifically for building our Lego Hogwarts Castle on. $30 for a near perfect condition wood table works great for us! Mr. Edwards? was the employee who originally greeted us. I didn't catch the name of the second employee but he was very nice and helpful also."
"Lots of really good finds. Area rugs, appliances, unique styles of furniture at really affordable prices. All storts of home improvements items such as tiles, toilets, paint, window screens, door knobs and door locks for front and back doors. Closet doors, bed frames. Curtains, couch and love seat covers. I found California king sheets for $20.00!! It is a "While supplies last" so if you it get it. It most likely wont be there tomorrow."
"I didn't know that this place existed. Great place to get supplies for your next project. Even if you don't have a next project. They also have furniture."
