"I can’t believe this store has a 4 star rating. I have been a j.jill customer for over 20 years and have never spoken to such a rude sales associate. I called to inquire about a new Spring item that came to me via a j.Jill email distribution. She tried to tell me they have them in the store but when she began telling me the colors I then knew that she was not talking about the same product. She said she was so sorry, but they were so busy, implying she didn’t want to look up the product number that I gave her. I finally asked for the manager and that was when she told me that they don’t carry them. ?? They are in j.jills Spring Peek email that I just received. Neither she nor her manager knew that. This store has other reviews of sales rudeness. Will never contact this store again."

"The woman assisting me was rude and unhelpful. I went in looking for a gift for my mother in law. I asked the sales associate if she could look up my MiL’s profile to see what size she has been purchasing. She told me she couldn’t do that. I informed her that they can look up profiles because they have done that for me in the past. She kept giving me excuses until she finally looked it up. The item I wanted to purchase was not available in the correct size. I had to problem solve for the woman and ask her if she could order it. She said someone was already looking up an order and I would have to wait a “long time”. I felt like she did not want to assist me, as all she gave me were excuses. Your employees need more training on common courtesy and kindness."
